Senior Care Franchise Brand Right at Home Targets Expansion in Akron, Looking to Meet Qualified Prospective Franchisees Wanting to Make a Difference in Their Community

Right at Home, the 650-plus location in-home health care concept helping seniors and adults with disabilities live comfortably at home, is looking to expand in Akron, Ohio. The opportunity gives local entrepreneurs a chance to make a difference in their communities and provide peace of mind to families needing care.

Right at Home employs professionally trained caregivers to provide care and assistance to seniors and adults with disabilities who wish to remain in the comfort and safety of their own home or current living arrangement. With over 26 years of experience providing essential care in more than 650 locations across eight countries, Right at Home has become one of the world’s largest in-home health care franchises.

With persons aged 65 and over making up 14.9% of the total population, Akron is primed for Right at Home’s services. Akron also offers plentiful opportunities for anyone to start, relocate, or expand their business, with 17 million people living within a 150-mile radius, as well as $314.5 million invested in infrastructure improvements over the last five years.

“Right at Home starts with our passionate franchise owners, and we’re excited to partner with the people of Akron,” said Jennifer Chaney, Vice President of Franchise Development. “We are seeking passionate individuals who aren’t just looking for a business to make a living. Entrepreneurs should choose Right at Home to make a positive impact on their communities and the people for whom they provide care. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for everyone that we serve.”

Currently, Right at Home has one location whose territory spans from Cleveland to Akron and 19 territories sold within the state of Ohio. With its eyes on Akron, the industry-leading in-home health care concept is seeking franchise partners to provide its much-needed services within two territories in the market.

Right at Home is seeing an increased demand for quality in-home care services across the country as the baby boomer generation reaches its senior years. During 2020 and 2021, the franchise not only survived the height of the pandemic but came out of it stronger than ever– exceeding growth goals by 40%. And in 2022, Right at Home picked up even more momentum as it continued to bring its best-in-class in-home care services to families in new markets across the country. This year, Right at Home is looking forward to building on that growth, including in Akron.

Kathleen L. Carriger debuts her first book: “Missionary Mama”

News Image

Years prior, Carriger was inspired by a book about Mother Teresa which eventually led her to join Wycliffe Bible Translators. The Lord led her on a mission that she never dreamed of and for half a decade she served as a teacher in Niger, Kenya, Tanzania, and Cameroon.

In “Missionary Mama: Tales of Africa and Wycliffe Bible Translators, 2001-2015,” by Kathleen L. Carriger, readers are provided with an in-depth look at Carriger’s transition from a California homebody to a missionary in Africa.

“A lot of people are fascinated by reading missionary stories and looking for ways to stretch their own faith or they may wonder if they would want to be a missionary,” Carriger said. “This book is a real-life story of what that could look like.”

Carriger returned to the U.S. where she served at Wycliffe’s training base in N.C. There, she eventually joined the Youth and Family Ministries team and worked with families that had served all over the world.

“Missionary Mama” will take readers through the highs and lows of Carriger’s adventure as a missionary and will share how she evolved from a wife, mother, and teacher to a woman with a heart for the world.

Newly published book brings us back closer to God’s Original Word

News Image

Terry N. Trent, Sr. announces his entry into the publishing scene with the release of “Original Truth: Restored from texts which have been altered or mistranslated since their divinely inspired original writings” (published by AuthorHouse).

This book is Trent’s honest attempt to bring back God’s Word as near to its original meaning as possible converting older terms from Hebrew and Greek/Aramaic (spoken by Christ) into the English language. Here, he gets readers nearer to the original writings of Yahweh than anything else presented in English since the time when Jesus Christ walked the earth as God in the flesh.

“Many people are AWAKENING to the deceptions and brainwashing to which we have all been subjected in recent decades and indeed for our entire lifetimes. They also want to learn what tampering, and more exactly stated, what SABOTAGE has occurred in the Holy Bible as well. The original writings in Hebrew and Greek/Aramaic from the prophets of old were divinely inspired by God, and fortunately for us, Hebrew has NEVER changed. Now people can get closer to the original truth than ever before,” Trent points out.

When asked what he wants readers to take away from the book, Trent answered, “I hope they will see that there was once a fellow who cared enough about the original truth of God’s divinely inspired Word, that he put his name (no pen name) on the line in an honest effort to preserve that Word as God intended for us to have it. I also hope that one fine day I may hear my Heavenly Father saying… JOB WELL DONE, MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT.” For more details about the book, please visit https://www.authorhouse.com/en/bookstore/bookdetails/849491-original-truth

There were times in stages of his life that his walk went with the flow of the world as most people do, but truly, he never lost sight of his core belief. He does not have any college degrees or doctorate degrees to cloud his spiritual discernment capabilities or in any way blur his laser focus on God’s Word. He stands ultimately with the words of Jesus Christ.

Miracles Can Happen Through the Power of Prayer – a Thought-Provoking Message For All Christians to Hear

The Lord told me to write this book on prayer based on my 40-year prayer journey with the Lord.

Author Susan F. Sanchez encourages readers on the importance of praying in her book, How You Can Receive Miracles Through Prayer and Intercession ($16.99, paperback, 9781662873706; $7.99, e-book, 9781662873713).

Sanchez shares the miracles that God has performed in her life as a way to inspire and motivate Christians to pray more effectively and confidently. She provides readers with proven successful keys of praying, a powerful tool for inciting prayer practice and encouragement for readers to believe that miracles can and will happen through prayer. The author hopes that her book will instill a passion for miracles among readers while strengthening fellowships and relationships with the Holy Spirit.

When asked what inspired the author to write this book, Sanchez said, “The Lord told me to write this book on prayer based on my 40-year prayer journey with the Lord.”

Author Brings His Experience in Theology, Missions, Medicine and Bioethics to a Must-Have Manual of Discipleship for the 21st Century

News Image

The need for individual Christians and churches, to keep the right priorities: hearts of love, humility, holiness and faith; and the realization that devotion to, not just participation in 4 particular activities, nurture life.

Author Gerald A. Haynes provides readers with an interesting exploration of discipleship aimed to inspire spiritual growth in the book, Living Inside Out: How and Why the Heart Defines the Christian ($18.99, paperback, 9781662869877; $28.99, hardcover, 9781662869884; $8.99, e-book, 9781662869891).

Haynes provides a refreshing definition of “living from the inside out” to mean that the Holy Spirit empowers and produces the life of Christ within and the Obedience of Faith practiced faithfully in daily life. In doing so, life precedes activity. His book examines the heart of the Christian through 4 thought-provoking topics: Love, Humility, Holiness/Obedience, and Faith. He believes that each topic is essential, interdependent and together define the core of what it means for Christ to live in each Christian.

The book also discusses the activities that all Christians should devote themselves to, based on their chosen service. This includes: the Apostles Doctrine, Fellowship, Breaking of Bread, and Prayer. Haynes presents these topics from a biblical perspective, thoughtfully illustrated with examples from church history. The focus remains on the heart as the priority in all activities, demonstrating how the activities nourish the new heart of the Christian.

When asked what inspired the author to write this book, Haynes said, “The need for individual Christians and churches, to keep the right priorities: hearts of love, humility, holiness and faith; and the realization that devotion to, not just participation in 4 particular activities, nurture life. There is also a need for Christians today to reengage with our past and those who lived out the life of Christ in previous ages.”

Dr. Gerald A. Haynes (DMin. MDiv. Gordon-Conwell) was born in Tampa, FL, and raised in Colorado Springs, CO. He and his wife, Cathy, now reside in Springfield, MO. They have 3 adult sons and 7 grandchildren. Haynes impressive list of experience across multiple disciplines includes Theology, Missions, Medicine (PA-C Baylor College of Medicine) and Bioethics (MA Trinity). He’s worked in Bioethics and locum medicine ER, Urgent care and with homeless patients. Haynes has been on multiple short-term mission trips around the world plus tours and digs in the Holy Land. He looks forward to continuing to celebrate the Feasts and his Jewish Roots, and visit additional churches this year. Haynes enjoys travel, teaching, cooking and eating.

This book is written as a help to any individual grappling with the question of why the world contains so much suffering. Though it deals with a deep philosophical issue, it is written in a non-technical, accessible manner and provides practical guidance

Author James E. Buirkle, MD dives headfirst into The Paradox of Pain: Uncovering the Only Avenue Towards Reconciling God’s Goodness with Suffering ($16.99, paperback, 9781662874208; $7.99, e-book, 9781662874215).

It is not a new question, but many Christians shy away from the topic of suffering, or try to explain it away with meaningless platitudes that ultimately lead nowhere. Not Buirkle. He leads readers through eight seemingly unsolvable quandaries that suffering presents.

“This book is written as a help to any individual grappling with the question of why the world contains so much suffering. Though it deals with a deep philosophical issue, it is written in a non-technical, accessible manner and provides practical guidance,” said Buirkle.

James E. Buirkle, MD is a New Jersey native who has spent his career specializing in Internal Medicine. His hobbies include snow and water skiing, fly fishing, golf and enjoying and companionship of family and friends.

Silverton Mortgage Announces Corporate Sponsorship Of The Kyle Pease Foundation

Silverton Mortgage and Kyle Pease Foundation are race ready

“We are excited to provide opportunities for in-chair athletes and their families to participate in events such as the Boston Marathon®, New York City Marathon®, Ironmans® and other big races.” – Josh Moffitt, CEO and founder of Silverton Mortgage.

Silverton Mortgage, a leading direct residential mortgage lender, announced a corporate sponsorship of the Kyle Pease Foundation (KPF), a non-profit that provides opportunities for people with disabilities to experience participating in athletic events, enriching their lives and those who support them.

From local 5Ks to the Ironman World Championships®, KPF has assisted 100+ unique athletes cross over 3600 finish lines nationwide.

Silverton will be a KPF Family Partner for the next two years, supporting two in-chair athletes each year in achieving their dreams of competing in a high-profile race. This sponsorship will be used to fund the expenses normally incurred by the athletes and their families when preparing and competing.

“Entry fees, travel expenses, training races, etc., can be prohibitors to participation,” shared Josh Moffitt, CEO and founder of Silverton Mortgage. “We are excited to provide opportunities for in-chair athletes and their families to participate in events such as the Boston Marathon®, New York City Marathon®, Ironmans® and other big races.”

“Silverton has been an avid supporter of the foundation for several years, from volunteering with KPF to racing with us and creating real change in the lives of KPF Athletes,” shared Executive Director, Brent Pease. “We are thrilled to take the relationship to the next level, as Silverton becomes a sponsor at the Family Partner Level. Creating and supporting opportunities for the families behind the athletes and giving them an experience that would not be possible without our friends at Silverton.”

Moffitt was first introduced to KPF several years ago while running the Publix® Atlanta Half Marathon when he passed one of their push teams on the course.

“I saw that the race chair had KPease logos, so afterward, I went home and looked them up. I was impressed with the foundation’s purpose and mission, and I decided to volunteer as a push assist runner with a friend for the following year’s half marathon,” shared Moffitt.

Silverton’s mission has always included a strong commitment to supporting its communities and giving back. The company established The Silverton Foundation in 2012 and has since provided more than 120 years’ worth of mortgage and rent payment assistance to families with sick children who have been hospitalized or who are receiving ongoing chronic or critical care treatments.
