Thomas Enright’s newly released “Sifting End-Times Mythologies from Biblical Realities” brings a different perspective of God’s prophetic word on the end-times

News Image

“Sifting End-Times Mythologies from Biblical Realities: A Deeper Analysis of End-Times Prophesies”: a profound discourse that examines in detail the prophecies and brilliantly points out the biblical truths from those that are not. “Sifting End-Times Mythologies from Biblical Realities: A Deeper Analysis of End-Times Prophesies” is the creation of published author Thomas Enright, a writer who lives with his wife in Vancouver, Washington. He has a BA from Florida Bible College and an MSM from Multnomah School of the Bible.

Enright shares, “Sifting End-Times Mythologies from Biblical Realities will challenge your way of seeing end-times prophecies like never before. By asking all our prophecy teachers to be more specific, concerning their terminology, the reader will gain a greater understanding of what is to be expected in our near future. This book addresses many of the errors of the past called mythologies. The reader will find more specific and detailed information about biblical words and biblical text than has been presented in the past one hundred years.

“As this book will ask others to be more specific, it will also be more detailed and specific, concerning the questions it asks of others. In this book, you will discover that you have heard many things that, to be polite, are simply not accurate, and by doing so will greatly increase understanding of God’s prophetic word. You will find your eyes being opened about the events as well as their chronological order better than others by helping you, the reader, to sift between what you have heard and what God’s word actually says. If anything, this book will challenge the reader to think about what they have been taught in the past.”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Thomas Enright’s new book is an eye-opening study that lets people discover the inaccuracies in the teachings that they have heard throughout the years. Written in detail, the reader will find time to ponder upon the things they have learned and move closer into God’s truths.

A Daily Devotional” is an inspirational assortment of devotionals intended to be practiced in increments

News Image

“My 2 Sense: A Daily Devotional”: an enjoyable series of devotionals that will inspire a deeper faith. “My 2 Sense: A Daily Devotional” is the creation of published author Dorian Stewart, a devoted Christian who has been blessed with a beautiful daughter with her husband, Patrick.

Stewart shares, “When looking for a devotional, someone would be curious why title a devotion My 2 Sense. This devotion concept comes from the biblical story of the widow’s offering shared by Jesus in Luke 21:1–4. Jesus notices the woman giving her two mites, two pennies, basically her two cents! He goes on to say, ‘This poor widow has given more than all the rest of them combined.’ Why? Because she gave all that she had.

“This devotional is for those who are in need of a daily word from God, written by a simple child of God who is going through similar trials and issues of this world. Just like the poor widow, this author has poured out her heart to share her two mites, two coins, or ‘two sense,’ given by God to uplift, encourage, smile, and make you see the goodness of the Lord. The author challenges you to read the devotion My 2 Sense and see how God fulfils your life on a daily basis.”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Dorian Stewart’s new book is a moving testament to the importance of daily thankfulness and mindfulness.

With relatable circumstances and an honest outlook, this collection of devotionals is an engaging opportunity for self-reflection and spiritual growth.

Tommy Thompson’s newly released “Is God Capable?” aims to fight against the lies of Satan with indisputable facts and absolute truths found in the Bible

News Image

“Is God Capable?” is a book that aims to fight against the lies of Satan. “Is God Capable?” is the work of author Tommy Thompson, an air force brat who has seen the decline of the respect of God’s authority in the last four decades.

Thompson shares, “The purpose of this book is to fight against the lies of Satan with indisputable facts of absolute truth found only in the Word of the Lord, otherwise known as the Bible. These indisputable facts, addressed in this book, answer the following questions:

  • “Is God capable of causing His Holy Scriptures to reach us today, accurately translated from the original languages in which they were written?
  • “Is God capable of speaking into existence, out of nothing, the trillions of galaxies that make up the heavens and the universe?
  • “Is God capable of causing His absolute truth to be applicable to all of us today, thousands of years after His absolute truth was actually written?
  • “Is God capable of truly blessing the nation whose God is the Lord?
  • “Is God capable of expressing to us that which is true forgiveness?
  • “Is God capable of fulfilling His promise of eternal life?

“Satan’s answer to all of these questions is a resounding “No, God is not capable.”

“The research in this book details people and organizations who have offered indisputable facts that God is capable of accomplishing all of the above. It is my fervent desire to get this book into the hands of as many people as possible so that it can be used as a tool to fight the lies of Satan and, more importantly, promote the absolute truths found in the Word of the Lord, otherwise known as the Bible.

“It is my fervent prayer that the information and suggested actions in this book are used as tools to promote the absolute truths that God really does ‘bless the nation whose God is the Lord’ and that the Word of the Lord, otherwise known as the Bible, is just as applicable in our lives today as it was when it was written all of those thousands of years ago.”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Tommy Thompson’s new book promises to expose the evil lies of Satan.

The author encourages all who read the seven chapters of this book to support this ministry by giving a copy of this book as a gift to everyone who is spiritually minded.

Author Rick Mungro’s newly released “The Origins Of Belief” is a unique examination of where our beliefs come from and how various denominations have come to coexist

News Image

“The Origins Of Belief”: a potent examination of biblical beliefs and origins. “The Origins Of Belief” is the creation of published author, Rick Mungro, a passionate Christian.

Mungro shares, “With so many questions concerning religion, we all have a yearning to believe in something. After being in church for over thirty years, I had questions that pastors, overseers, and bishops could not answer. There are over sixty different denominations, with an estimated forty-five thousand churches in each, all carrying the same Bible and claiming the same Jesus, but each having different beliefs.

After much research and world religious studies, I come to the conclusion that when we Americanize the Bible, it causes a lack of understanding in our belief, which causes us to mislead others. The only way to find truth was to visit the land. I walked and talked with religious leaders as we followed the footsteps of Jesus. We traveled the length and width of the land, leaving no stone unturned, while uncovering so many extraordinary truths.

After my visit to Qumran and the Shrine of the Book in Jerusalem, 50 percent of my questions were answered. I say this with sincere humbleness and confidence, ‘The Bible is a reliable source. It is a collection of historical documents written by eyewitnesses who were living during the time of other eyewitnesses. And its findings were divine rather than human in origin. Its prophetic message comes to pass, and its words can be proven by multidimensional prophetic interpretation.’

We sing songs about three wise men—was it really three? How many seeds are in the pomegranate, and what does it mean? Should we name our church Carmel? Find answers to these questions and more.

As leaders, we can change the atmosphere we occupy when we understand its land, customs, and culture. It’s very important to connect our belief to the Christian story, by digging deeper into the origin of belief.”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Rick Mungro’s new book is an engaging consideration of biblical beliefs and how they came to be.

The author hopes to inspire and encourage readers of all walks of life to consider the information presented within in hopes of them finding a deeper faith in God.

St. Francis College Announces New Campus in the Heart of Brooklyn

St. Francis College today announced its plan to move to a newly designed and fully customized campus in downtown Brooklyn.

St. Francis College’s relocation to The Wheeler building at 181 Livingston St. is the foundation of the 162-year-old private Franciscan institution’s transformative new initiative, SFC Forward, which it undertook in early 2021. The new campus will open its doors to students in September 2022.

“We are excited about SFC Forward and our relocation,” said Denis J. Salamone ’75, Chair of the St. Francis College Board of Trustees. “This initiative will make us more competitive and ensure future generations of Terriers receive life-changing academic and student experiences affording them increased social mobility.”

Along with the move, St. Francis College is introducing a new slate of academic programs, specifically in disciplines that springboard students into jobs in growing career fields, and is expanding opportunities for remote and online learning. SFC Forward also deepens the College’s commitment to champion a diverse and inclusive community throughout its curricula, programming, hiring and more.

“For more than 160 years, St. Francis College has demonstrated a commitment to providing an unmatched private education in the heart of New York City,” said Miguel Martinez-Saenz, Ph.D., President of St. Francis College. “This is a historic moment to completely re-envision our campus and meet the needs of our community, and we are thrilled to continue offering a first-rate, affordable education in a modern, flexible and welcoming learning space.”

MODERN FACILITIES CUSTOMIZED FOR COLLABORATION AND EXCELLENCE

St. Francis College is customizing a new campus in The Wheeler, inspired by community engagement and innovative design that will meet the needs of its changing student body.

The College, which previously grew from a small campus on Butler Street to a series of interconnected buildings on Remsen Street, welcomed more than 2,700 students in fall 2020, including its largest first-year class ever. It anticipates more than 3,500 enrolled students by 2026.

The contemporary facilities in The Wheeler were designed with input from faculty, staff, students and alumni to prioritize collaboration and community. They feature:

  • A dedicated, marked entrance on Livingston Street and lobby welcoming students and faculty to St. Francis College
  • Flexible labs and classrooms with built-in technology that accommodate a range of teaching styles and class structures
  • A 300-seat auditorium
  • A 260-seat cafeteria with servery and kitchen
  • A 32-seat tiered screening room
  • A 6,600-square-foot library with study and research spaces
  • A private outdoor terrace and access to a roof deck with views of the Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty, Lower Manhattan and New York Harbor
  • Two art gallery spaces
  • Gathering spaces for students to work together, study and relax

St. Francis College’s new campus will occupy about 255,000 square feet across the fifth, sixth and seventh floors at 181 Livingston St. and will include more than 2,600 square feet of programmable outdoor space.

The Wheeler is a recently completed 10-story tower above the landmark art deco Macy’s department store and located in one of New York City’s densest subway service areas, with 12 subway lines within a five-minute walk.

St. Francis College’s athletics program—with its 21 Division I teams—will continue without interruption and are a part of SFC Forward’s vision. While the new campus does not include a gym or pool on site, the College is developing partnerships with nearby institutions to share indoor spaces for practice sessions and competitions. St. Francis College will continue to use various off-site playing fields and other spaces for its outdoor sports.

NEW ACADEMIC STRUCTURE OFFERING FLEXIBILITY, NEW OPPORTUNITIES IN EMERGING FIELDS

The campus move complements the recent work to strengthen and expand St. Francis College’s educational programming that anticipates the 21st-century global job market.

“Our students deserve nothing less than an education that meets the demands of the 21st-century economy,” said Jennifer Lancaster, Ph.D., Vice President for Academic Affairs and Academic Dean. “SFC Forward ensures that we are immersing our students in global perspectives and learning experiences, expanding into emerging fields, and reinforcing students as critical thinkers, leaders and lifelong learners.”

Under SFC Forward, the College is offering four new master of science degrees—in exercise & sport science, special education, sports management and public health—and will introduce new undergraduate programs offering global perspectives in disciplines that prepare students for burgeoning in-demand career fields.

Flexibility for students is also key to the College’s forward-thinking approach to its academics. St. Francis College is expanding opportunities for students to learn remotely, relying on the latest technology and online instruction techniques available to deliver an expanding roster of online classes and co-curricular events.

The new campus incorporates innovative technology into its facilities, and SFC’s Online Faculty Training Certification and newly launched Center for the Advancement of Faculty Excellence (the CAFE) ensure faculty members master best practices to develop engaging course content and promote student and instructor interaction, in both online and face-to-face instruction.

AFFIRMING FRANCISCAN VALUES THAT DEEPEN SFC’S COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSIVITY

In keeping with the College’s foundational values, SFC Forward strives to be a beacon for all that lives up to its commitment of diversity, equity and inclusion.

“We are incredibly proud that the St. Francis College community increasingly reflects the rich diversity of this city and of our world,” said Monique Moore Pryor, Chief Engagement and External Affairs Officer. “Through an academic curriculum attuned to diverse voices, recruitment and retention of the very best employees of different backgrounds, and ongoing programming that promotes open dialogue, the College will continue to champion and grow our inclusivity with intent and thoughtfulness.”

In addition to its new academic program’s increased flexibility that acknowledges and adapts to nontraditional students, St. Francis College has increased its investment in initiatives that prepare students from historically underrepresented populations to support their social mobility.

Self-identified Black and Hispanic students continue to make up the majority of St. Francis College’s student body. In 2020, 24 percent of the student population identified as Black, and 28 percent as Hispanic. Ten percent of the student body consists of international students, with enrollees coming from Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica, Serbia, Albania, Spain and more than 70 other countries.

With a renewed focus on recruiting and supporting our increasingly diverse staff and faculty, the College is also currently developing a new strategic plan with leadership from both its Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer and its Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Steering Committee.

SFC FORWARD AND THE COLLEGE’S NEW CAMPUS IS CELEBRATED BY COLLEGE, COMMUNITY AND BUSINESS LEADERS AND ELECTED OFFICIALS:

“I congratulate St. Francis College on its new home in Downtown Brooklyn. For years, SFC has provided top-notch educational opportunities to students from Brooklyn and beyond, helping to set them up for a lifetime of success. I am pleased to be able to commit funding to support the fit out of this new 21st century space, in order to allow the college’s expanded academic offerings in a variety of burgeoning fields. Author Shares His Life-Changing Experience Facing Both God and Satan in New Thought-Provoking Book

News Image

“Recently, God directed me to go ahead and write about the encounter and to present answers to logical challenges along with the story presentation.”

In “I Met God and Also Satan: The Out-of-Body Experience That Dramatically Changed My Life” by Glenn Walling, the author examines how he and his college roommate, utilizing the scientific method, tested world-renowned philosopher René Descartes’ theory “I think, therefore I am.” While testing this theory back in his dorm room in southern California, Walling had a life-changing experience he could never have dreamed possible. In “I Met God and Also Satan,” Walling shares the details of this other worldly experience, a surprising venture outside of the boundaries of the physical universe.

Throughout the text, readers will learn about Walling’s extraordinary encounter and how he faced the most powerful, unearthly principalities, meeting not only God, but Satan as well. Walling presents his story to an atheist professor as they discuss and deliberate the logistics and arguments surrounding what happened and how Walling did not choose to return to the physical world but was sent back.

“I kept the story of this encounter with God and Satan to myself for decades as I was concerned with credibility,” said Walling. “Recently, God directed me to go ahead and write about the encounter and to present answers to logical challenges along with the story presentation.”

In “I Met God and Also Satan,” Walling presents a firsthand testimony of God’s existence while using logic to reach a skeptical audience. This thought-provoking book challenges readers to think outside their comfort zone as they read about this factual event in the author’s life.

Author Bill Glenn’s newly released “Growing Toward God” is a heartfelt devotional meant to inspire readers to pursue a deeper faith

News Image

“Growing Toward God”: a stimulating discussion of Christianity. “Growing Toward God” is the creation of published author Bill Glenn, a dedicated writer, Christian, and loving father.

Glenn shares, “Just as wisdom doesn’t necessarily come with age, spiritual growth doesn’t necessarily come with being a Christian. A new Christian is like a child – in need of good food, care and guidance. Without those things, he or she will be malnourished and lack direction. As a result, the new Christian could fail to grow properly, get lost in a sea of competing ideas, or die.

“It is a sad truth that many Christians are lured away from their faith by Satan. Peter wrote about them in 2 Peter 2:20: ‘If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning.’

“The principles that form the structure of this book were developed during devotionals the author had with his grandchildren. They were meant to provide a strong, easy-to-remember foundation for their young faith. As the idea for a book developed, the writer knew he wanted it to be useful for a lifetime – something his daughters and grandchildren could refer back to occasionally as they experience the varying terrain of life. So he incorporated ideas that are relevant to Christians of all ages.

“Using a combination of humor, scripture and common sense, Growing Toward God provides some simple but important principles to help Christians young and old grow in their most important relationship.”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Bill Glenn’s new book offers readers a gentle guidance towards a more fulfilling relationship with God.

With a lighthearted tone, Glenn discusses key components to living a Godly life and offers insight on how to overcome worldly obstacles that may be present in one’s life.

Massachusetts Lawsuit Alleges Episcopal Priest Robert Hiller Malm Engaged in Defamation, Abuse of Process, Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress

The Rev. Robert Hiller Malm, an Episcopal priest canonically resident in the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia, has been sued in the Wareham Massachusetts district court for alleged abuse of process, defamation/libel, and the intentional infliction of emotional distress by former parishioner and retired attorney Eric J. Bonetti, docket number 2160CV000109.

The pleadings allege that Malm observed the plaintiff peacefully protesting on a public street near St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church in Marion Massachusetts and contacted local police, allegedly telling officers that the plaintiff had “stalked,” harassed,” and “threatened” Malm.

Further, the pleadings allege that Malm subsequently filed a request for a harassment protection order based on similar fabrications, including allegedly telling the Wareham court that he had not committed perjury in prior litigation between the parties, with the improper objective of preventing Bonetti from protesting near the church. They also allege that Malm posted a defamatory video to the St. Gabriel’s website containing similar claims.

The pleadings further allege that Malm’s actions were intended to damage the plaintiff’s reputation and to cause emotional distress.

In addition to unspecified damages, the pleadings ask for an injunction prohibiting Malm from contacting the plaintiff, as well as a referral for criminal prosecution of Malm’s alleged perjury.
