Paris Baguette Continues To Dominate the Bakery Franchise Industry, Signs Agreement in Roseville, MN for One Location

With 109 freshly signed deals and over 40% year-over-year growth, Entrepreneur Magazine’s No. 1 bakery/cafe brand is poised to meet, if not exceed, its goal of 64 units opened in 2023, expanding to Florida, Hawaii, Maryland and more.

ROSEVILLE, Minn., Dec. 4, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Paris Baguette, the bakery café concept with 4,000 units worldwide including nearly 150 in the United States, has seen significant growth in the past year. After a remarkable 2022 and strong end of 2023, the franchisor is continuing along an impressive growth trajectory with its most recent signing in Roseville, MN.

“We are thrilled to announce additional expansion within Minnesota. There’s a tremendous amount of opportunity in the bakery café space,” explained Eric Lavinder, Chief Development Officer. “No other bakery café franchisors are doing what Paris Baguette is on the same scale. Our ability to stay true to our bakery café roots while embracing aggressive expansion has garnered attention, and that only serves to drive us forward.”

The Roseville deal will bring the total number of locations within Minnesota to one. The agreement was signed by Wendy Yang & Hongkong Vang who are pioneering the additional growth.

“When looking for the right franchise opportunity, Paris Baguette was the ideal fit because of its amazing product line, store design and proven response from communities throughout the United States,” said Yang.

Moving forward, the brand continues to eye the 1,000 unit mark within the U.S. by 2030, and as it continues to grow, Lavinder explained that Paris Baguette seeks passionate franchisees interested in serving people in a welcoming neighborhood establishment.

“We want someone who is going to take the time to put the right staff members in place in their store and ensure everyone understands the most important person is the guest,” he added.

Within the $17 billion bakery segment, Paris Baguette continues to differentiate itself by offering breads, cakes and pastries made fresh daily, unlike many other concepts that primarily offer soups, salads and other pre-made goods.

For franchisees looking to break into the industry, Paris Baguette provides remarkable brand recognition, unique guest offerings and strong franchisee support while maintaining its commitment to following a true bakery café model.

In 2023, Paris Baguette aims to sign 160 franchise agreements and open 64 new cafés. Lavinder said target markets for the coming year include Washington, California, Arizona, Colorado, Minnesota, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Maryland. He added that the brand will continue its development in New Jersey and New York and expand in some additional states in New England, including Connecticut and Massachusetts.

“We are on track to enter 45 new markets and open a total of 64 units by the end of 2023,” said TJ Rogers, franchise sales manager. “Even throughout the pandemic and its aftershocks, we did not shy away from opening additional units and exploring new markets. With great year-over-year revenue increases and a persistent interest in the brand from franchisees and consumers alike, we expect nothing but a strong continued growth trajectory for the brand.”

The total investment to franchise with Paris Baguette ranges from $652,565 and $1,750,900 including a $50,000 franchise fee. For more information, please visit https://parisbaguette.com/franchising/.

Alucio™ Unveils Beacon Hub 2.0 to Further Elevate HCP and Stakeholder Engagement

These improvements include the ability for MSLs to highlight key sections of the content that they have uploaded to Beacon Hub. This in turn activates automated pointers or bookmarks for HCPs, enabling them to jump directly to those highlighted content sections without having to wade through entire documents.

In addition, there are now new collaboration capabilities designed for Medical Communications Teams to create shareable Hubs around disease areas, congress meetings, or important educational initiatives and then publish those Hubs to MSLs for approved external distribution. This capability can also be very helpful for Medical Information teams wanting to disseminate critical product-related content packets in a real-time manner.

Furthermore, within Beacon Hub, designated HCPs now have the capability to upload their own documents, such as presentation slides or research reports, and share additional resources like journal article links or social media posts with MSLs and life science companies. This secure feature fosters additional collaboration and information exchanges between HCPs and the company on key scientific topics or research.

All of these new enhancements in Beacon Hub are fully customizable and configurable according to individual customer business needs and compliance guidelines.

“We are committed to delivering cutting-edge engagement and collaboration capabilities to provide meaningful benefits to our Beacon customers,” shared Eric Chen, Alucio’s Chief Technology Officer. “With this enhanced release of Beacon Hub, field users will be able to conduct deeper and extended scientific exchanges with the KOLs they are interacting with.”

“It is really exciting to see these meaningful, new enhancements in Beacon Hub as part of the broader Beacon platform,” echoed Nika Sajed, Principal Medical Scientist at Gilead. “In field medical, we are always looking for creative ways to extend the scientific conversation with HCPs. Beacon Hub is a very unique and flexible solution that allows MSLs and Medical Affairs teams to respond to stakeholder needs, increase connectivity and deepen relationships.”

RT MicroDx Founder & CEO Nathalya Mamane to Present at New England Venture Summit

RT MicroDx is working to develop a platform technology to bring molecular diagnostics for common infectious diseases into consumers’ homes. As a first use case, Mamane and her team have selected the use of saliva and the detection of Strep A infection; they are planning to develop similar home diagnostic tests for RSV, mononucleosis, meningococcal disease, staphylococcus, haemophilus influenzae, and more in the future. Previous studies (not conducted by RT MicroDx) have proven that saliva is an adequate vector for detecting strep using DNA amplification, and RT MicroDx has developed a patented, first-of-its-kind technology that, if approved, will allow for a simple, binary, positive/negative strip readout without the need for expensive laboratory equipment, advanced health literacy, or access to technology to interpret results at home.

“Current molecular diagnostic tests are either lab tests that require taking time off work, getting a doctor appointment, and traveling to the doctor’s office – not to mention the high costs of health insurance and copays – or they are at-home tests (for COVID-19 and flu only) that are cost prohibitive. And for Strep A, there are no at-home tests at all,” Mamane explained. “This just isn’t sustainable. We need diagnostic options that are accessible for everyone. We need a better way.”

RT MicroDx has completed proof-of-concept studies for its Strep A test and is currently seeking capital in order to submit for FDA approval to begin first-in-human trials. The company has previously earned recognition as a runner-up in the 2022 MIT Launch Challenge, first place winner in the Blank Center for Entrepreneurship at Babson College “Babson Entrepreneurial Thought & Action” challenge, a finalist in the Mass Challenge US Early Stage Cohort 2022, and a finalist in the Mass Innovation Eddies Cohort 2023. Mamane and RT MicroDx have also been featured in Axios, GenomeWeb, and Boston Business Journal.

RT MicroDx’s technology and diagnostic tests are in prototype stage and have not been evaluated or approved by the FDA.

To schedule a meeting with Mamane at the New England Venture Summit, email: [email protected].

About RT MicroDx

RT MicroDx is a biotech company working to develop a technology platform for affordable, accurate, at-home molecular diagnostics for common infectious diseases. We are a woman-owned, minority-owned business, driven by our passion to make diagnostics affordable and accessible to all. High costs of healthcare, social determinants of health, economic disparities, and physician shortages have combined to form the perfect storm to make our current way of delivering healthcare in the US unsustainable. Ideal Option Opens Largest Addiction Medicine Center in Yakima

The new, high-capacity clinic will vastly increase the number of individuals in active treatment and recovery from substance use disorder.

YAKIMA, Wash., Dec. 4, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Ideal Option, a national leader in evidence-based outpatient treatment for addiction to fentanyl, heroin, methamphetamine, alcohol and polysubstance, has opened a new addiction medicine center in Yakima.

The new center merges their two existing Yakima clinics at 11th Ave and River Rd into one location at 602 N 39th Ave. Located in the same building as Yakima County Medical Society, the center is staffed with three addiction medicine providers and five medical assistants and patients receive support from a peer outreach specialist. With capacity to see up to 75 patients per day, the clinic is the largest of its kind in Yakima.

A trusted, low-barrier provider in Yakima for over 10 years, Ideal Option carries no waitlists, accepts Medicaid and serves all patients with respect and dignity. Ideal Option providers are experts in treating high-risk patients who need specialized protocols for complex drug combinations or health conditions such as pregnancy and chronic disease.

Ideal Option data support the effectiveness of medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder. Among Washington state patients who continued treatment with Ideal Option throughout 2022, urine drug testing revealed a remarkable 98% reduction in fentanyl use and a 94% reduction in total opioid use.

With the recent expansion of its in-house laboratory capabilities, Ideal Option is now able to detect dozens of fentanyl analogs, nitazines, novel psychoactive substances, and cutting agents such as xylazine and lidocaine – information used to guide personalized treatment plans.

According to data from the Yakima County Coroner’s Office, 98 residents died of a drug overdose last year, a 34% increase from the 73 deaths reported in 2020. Of the overdose deaths that occurred in 2020 and 2021, more than 60% involved opioids, with fentanyl being the most common opioid involved in those deaths.

Yakima has been hit particularly hard by the street drug epidemic, so a high-capacity centralized, low-barrier resource like this is desperately needed,” said Tyler Vermillion, Ideal Option community outreach coordinator for Eastern Washington. “We hope this beautiful new center will help to normalize treatment and encourage more people suffering from substance use disorder in Yakima County to begin their recovery and reclaim their lives.”

The new treatment center in Yakima is open Monday – Thursday, 7:00 a.m.6 p.m. at 602 N 39th Ave, Ste. 200.

Most forms of insurance are accepted, including Medicare and Medicaid, and patients can typically get started on treatment for fentanyl, heroin, alcohol or other substances within 1-3 business days.

Ideal Option’s offices on 11th Ave and River Rd have now closed.

Patients can make an appointment by calling 1.877.522.1275 or visiting‥www.idealoption.com.

About Ideal Option

Headquartered in Kennewick, Washington, Ideal Option was founded in 2012 and has since helped more than 75,000 patients through a network of 89 office-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT) clinics across 9 states. With a mission to serve under-served communities, Ideal Option accepts most forms of insurance including Medicaid and Medicare. Financial assistance and payment plans are also available.

Ideal Option’s team of medical providers carry certifications in Addiction and Emergency Medicine, Internal, and Family Medicine, among other specialties. The company also employs social workers, caseworkers, counselors, and mental health practitioners. This holistic approach helps drive positive outcomes, including family stability, stable housing, improved overall health, and reduced rates of recidivism.

In all the communities it serves, Ideal Option collaborates with existing stakeholders and providers to improve the continuum of care. This approach includes partnerships with emergency rooms and county jail systems, where individuals with substance use disorder often appear, as well as collaborating with numerous support agencies and municipal programs addressing social needs such as housing, mental health, and nutrition support.
