ThoughtWire and Schneider Electric announce strategic partnership and new joint offering for healthcare facilities

https://www.prweb.com/

ThoughtWire partners with Schneider Electric

“ThoughtWire’s market proven capabilities have helped hospitals achieve better efficiency, higher patient satisfaction, and cost reduction,” said Mike Sullivan, Building Segments President, Schneider Electric.

Schneider Electric, the leader in digital transformation of energy management and automation, and ThoughtWire, a leading provider of Digital Twins for the built environment, today announced a strategic partnership to create smarter digital hospitals that operate seamlessly. The partnership means healthcare customers can take advantage of the connected hospital and achieve their digital strategy objectives faster by leveraging ThoughtWire and Schneider Electric’s suite of solutions.

This new partnership addresses some of the biggest roadblocks to becoming a truly patient-centric digital hospital. Today, healthcare facilities are operated in silos with fragmented information available from a variety of different systems. There is very little connectivity between facilities management and clinical operations, yet patients and clinicians increasingly require a more seamless experience in the hospital environment.

“We’ve been working with our customers in healthcare for the past 10 years to orchestrate data from across critical clinical systems, OT systems, IoT devices, to build a real-time Digital Twin that makes it easier for clinicians to have full visibility into patient needs and the entire hospital workflow,” said Mike Monteith, CEO, ThoughtWire. “More recently, we’ve seen a need to connect aspects of building infrastructure like energy and environmental data to provide these insights about the care environment back to facilities teams.”

Partnering with ThoughtWire allows Schneider Electric healthcare facilities customers to benefit from the connected hospital environment, where facilities management and clinical workflow operations are orchestrated seamlessly and each group has the visibility they need to deliver the best outcomes for patients and staff. ThoughtWire’s Digital Twin enables Schneider Electric to improve patient outcomes with a data model of a hospital’s building systems, clinical and IT systems, IoT devices, workflows and people.

“We’re excited to be working with Schneider Electric on bringing these joint solutions to the healthcare market,” said Franco Castaldini, Chief Commercial Officer, ThoughtWire. “This partnership represents an unmatched offering in terms of breadth and depth, providing the most comprehensive set of capabilities to create truly Digital Hospitals.”

“ThoughtWire’s market proven capabilities have helped hospitals achieve better efficiency, higher patient satisfaction, and cost reduction,” said Mike Sullivan, Building Segments President, Schneider Electric. “This partnership will further help Schneider Electric’s customers transform their hospitals and improve the lives of patients, clinicians, and staff.”

“ThoughtWire’s digital twin helps makes sense of data, driving greater insights and allowing us to create smarter buildings,” said Rebecca Boll, Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Strategy, Schneider Electric.

Docent Health Showcasing New Patient Engagement Insights At Activate 2019

News Image

Docent Health, the healthcare experience technology and services company, today released results showing how innovations in patient texting are driving improvements in patient engagement and lowered costs of care. By using mobile communications in thoughtful ways, Docent Health is creating capacity to address social determinants of health at scale, while simultaneously improving the patient experience.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) have stated that achieving health equity and driving improvements for all patients require further investment in tools that address social determinants and close care gaps. However, constraints on budgets and resourcing make it increasingly difficult to provide high-touch services to all patients, particularly those populations with unique or complex needs.

Docent Health uses its experience intelligence platform to efficiently and effectively personalize interactions for entire populations across phone, email, and text, but goes a step further by also providing patients access to a live, non-clinical navigator. Together, the technology and the “docent” individualize support and guidance across local community resources, educational programs, and care preparation, while also orchestrating activities with care teams and social support resources.

Jacqueline Thong, Docent Health’s Senior Director of Product Performance, will be presenting the research and results at Activate 2019 in Los Angeles, CA on October 10th. A preview of some of the research findings are:

  • 89% of patients actively engaged with the Docent Health program when offered
  • 76% of all patient interactions are through text message
  • 3.5x docent navigator efficiencies gained, allowing navigators to spend more time with patients who need additional support

“Docent Health believes the challenges of modern healthcare require the right balance of technological and human services,” said Paul Roscoe, CEO of Docent Health. “Our patient engagement research is driving this forward, and we’re seeing conclusive evidence that providing enhanced support results in healthier and happier patients.”

Docent Health’s technology platform collects numerous unique patient attributes, then uses its proprietary experience intelligence tools to analyze those inputs and predictively determine the right communications to develop patient relationships and help coordinate care. The Docent Health analysis utilized a large dataset of over 130,000 interactions with patients in various markets throughout the United States.

ThreatWarrior and Moffitt Cancer Center work together to bring Next-Generation Cybersecurity to the Health Care Industry

Cybercrime is the cancer of the digital age and ThreatWarrior is giving organizations a chance to fight back.

ThreatWarrior, a leader in AI-powered cyber defense, and Moffitt Cancer Center, the only Florida-based National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, announced today a collaboration agreement to improve cybersecurity for health care organizations.

The two industry leaders will work together to develop ThreatWarrior features and functionalities so that organizations can quickly mitigate and defend the deluge of cyber threats and other vulnerabilities.

“Cybercrime is the cancer of the digital age and ThreatWarrior is giving organizations a chance to fight back,” said Pete Slade, founder and CEO at ThreatWarrior. “The potential of this partnership is enormous, and we are proud to be working with such a highly-regarded institution as Moffitt in combating this growing issue.”

With cyberattacks increasing daily, it’s critical that high-value targets take advanced, proactive security measures to prevent breaches. This is especially true in the case of hospitals, medical offices and other health organizations, where compromised systems can cost much more than financial or reputation damage.

ThreatWarrior helps prevent these losses by combining machine learning with network and behavioral analysis to identify anomalies. It autonomously identifies and neutralizes cyber threats by delivering a Cyber Immune Response™ modeled after the human immune system. The platform provides comprehensive protection from all cyberattacks including zero-day exploits, ransomware, insider and unknown attacks.

As part of the strategic collaboration agreement, Moffitt’s Cyber Operations will collaborate with ThreatWarrior application developers to constantly improve the product.

“Because of the constant cyber threats to health care operations, teams need new and innovative measures to swiftly address them,” said Dave Summitt, Moffitt’s chief information security officer. “ThreatWarrior has the potential to significantly impact the defense of cyberattacks and how threats are handled by health care security teams.”

About ThreatWarrior

COMPLIANCY GROUP Colors HIPAA Seal of Compliance™ Pink for Breast Cancer

HIPAA Breast Cancer Awareness

Laura Neidig, HIPAA subject matter expert at Compliancy Group states, “I’m so proud to be part of a company that acknowledges a cause that we’ve all been affected by in one way or another”

COMPLIANCY GROUP is deeply entrenched in the healthcare industry, helping healthcare organizations achieve HIPAA compliance, in turn helping their patients. Breast cancer is a terrible disease that affects so many people, as such Compliancy Group recognizes the need to spread awareness to further help patients.

This October, Compliancy Group is proud to participate in National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast cancer is one of the most common kinds of cancer in women after skin cancer. About 1 in 8 women born today in the United States will get breast cancer at some point.

Laura Neidig, HIPAA subject matter expert at Compliancy Group states, “I’m so proud to be part of a company that acknowledges a cause that we’ve all been affected by in one way or another”

The good news is that most women can survive breast cancer if it’s found and treated early.

If you are a woman age 40 to 49, talk with your doctor about when to start getting mammograms and how often to get them.

If you are a woman age 50 to 74, be sure to get a mammogram every 2 years. You may also choose to get them more often.

Talk to a doctor about your risk for breast cancer, especially if a close family member of yours had breast or ovarian cancer. Your doctor can help you decide when and how often to get mammograms.

Compliancy group’s Seal of Compliance will be colored pink for the month of October; the Seal validates and verifies an organization’s “good faith effort” towards HIPAA compliance. A portion of proceeds for the month of October will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.

Join The Cause with Compliancy Group!
