ARS/Rescue Rooter of Vero Beach Surprises Healthcare Hero on COVID-19 Frontline with Home Services Makeover

Nicole Clark, ARS Cares Healthcare Heroes Program Winner in Vero Beach

“We know the healthcare workers in our community have been working tirelessly during this pandemic to ensure our safety. We wanted to make sure they had a comfortable and safe environment to come home to as our way of saying thanks,” said Ryan O’Neil, General Manager.

As part of the ARS Cares Healthcare Heroes Program, ARS/Rescue Rooter of Vero Beach, a local Heating and Cooling services provider, is giving a new HVAC unit to Nicole Clark, a deserving ER nurse at West Palm Beach VA Medical Center. The Healthcare Heroes program is an extension of the year-round, company-wide ARS Cares initiative through ARS/Rescue Rooter, and has given more than 50 free home services makeovers to healthcare professionals across the country during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We know the healthcare workers in our community have been working tirelessly during this pandemic to ensure our safety. We wanted to make sure they had a comfortable and safe environment to come home to as our way of saying thanks,” said Ryan O’Neil, General Manager.

As physically and mentally hard as it is especially during COVID-19, Clark is also a disabled veteran and was a Navy Corpsman for over 5 years. She has been working 5 days a week since the pandemic started while her parents help take care of her children (3 and 7) who are now home schooled. She has been caring for others in their time of need for over 12 years. The installation of Clark’s new HVAC unit was completed on June 20th.

The ARS Cares Healthcare Heroes program was announced on May 13. Friends, family members and co-workers were asked to nominate individuals and share stories of why a Vero Beach area healthcare worker was deserving of a home services makeover to ensure comfort and relaxation. ARS received more than 400 nominations.

The ARS Cares initiative was launched in 2016 to cultivate positive relationships with communities where we live, work, and play. Since that time, more than 90 home services makeovers have been completed, donating more than $500,000 of HVAC systems and water heaters to deserving recipients. Goliath joins IGEL Ready Program as a Technology Partner

“As a member of the IGEL Ready Program, we ensure our combined solution offers optimal value to Health IT professionals responsible for the end-to-end clinician experience while centrally managing and securing all endpoints,” shared Thomas Charlton, CEO and Chairman of Goliath Technologies.

Goliath joins a growing number of forward-thinking businesses that are integrating and validating their products through the new IGEL Ready program.

Goliath Technologies, a leader in end-user experience monitoring and troubleshooting software, and IGEL, the edge OS leader for cloud workspaces, today announced that Goliath has joined the new IGEL Ready program as a technology partner. IGEL Ready opens up the company’s core enterprise software for tech companies like Goliath to integrate and validate its products, driving business growth and flexible access to enterprise applications for mutual customers of Goliath and IGEL.

“While we support organizations across verticals, Goliath is the standard in Health IT. We offer purpose-built software to monitor and troubleshoot end-user experiences across Citrix and VMware Horizon environments to the delivery and use of EHR applications, like Cerner, Epic, Allscripts, and MEDITECH,” shares Thomas Charlton, CEO and Chairman of Goliath Technologies. “As a member of the IGEL Ready Program, we ensure our combined solution offers optimal value to Health IT professionals responsible for the end-to-end clinician experience while centrally managing, controlling, and securing all endpoints.”

IGEL is often a critical piece of the IT delivery infrastructure, especially in healthcare. However, that infrastructure is complex and when end-user performance issues arise (slow logon times, poor session performance), identifying what piece of technology stack or end-user behavior is negatively impacting the experience is challenging. With Goliath’s software, IGEL customers can quickly identify root cause and resolve end-user performance issues avoiding any delay in deployment or use of IGEL.

“The future of enterprise computing is in the cloud. The IGEL Ready program makes it easy for any company to deploy its applications to virtual desktops and cloud workspaces, reaching a new and relevant market and enabling world-class customer service,” said Jed Ayres, CEO, IGEL. “We’re excited that Goliath Technologies is joining our growing network of more than 90 IGEL Ready partners and being part of a new movement in the end user computing industry.”

Now more than ever, providing customers and their employees with reliable, frictionless access to tools, applications, and services is critical for businesses continuity and growth. The IGEL Ready program ensures that partner applications are validated and shared, and that their customers have access to updated and secure software. This new ecosystem enables customers to consider compatible devices and partner applications across a range of categories in the customer-facing IGEL Ready Showcase.

Reveleer Launches NLP-Driven HEDIS® Data Overread Built for Speed and Accuracy of Quality Improvement Programs

Reveleer, a healthcare technology company that enables health plans to take total control of their government quality and risk adjustment programs, today announced the extension of its platform’s capabilities to include powerful Natural Language Processing (NLP) that will resolve mission-critical challenges for the overread of medical charts to comply with HEDIS® programs.

Reveleer’s NLP-Driven HEDIS® Overread provides customers the ability to increase the volume and accuracy of overread to ensure all compliant HEDIS® measures have been captured from medical records. Currently, health plans perform this important task in a closed system, relying on costly manual review. This time-consuming process does not provide the agility and assurance HEDIS® audits demand.

Reveleer’s software provides full transparency into the overread process. With the addition of NLP, this platform offers a dynamic solution for health plans to completely overread all hybrid measures and select administrative measures with 97% confidence. This automation allows customers to effortlessly perform 100% overread independently within the platform with internal resources or utilizing Reveleer’s experienced abstraction team.

Using Machine Learning (ML), Reveleer’s NLP engine will review the medical record and validate numerator events documented by the primary abstractor. The engine returns results, indicating whether our NLP algorithm has found a match, partial match, or no match to those documented events. Each match and partial match will also contain annotations for the specific dates of service and related results. All chases reviewed by Reveleer’s NLP can be routed for further human evaluation if desired.

“Reveleer believes innovative NLP technology can be used to solve fundamental industry challenges. Although the technology has been in the market for some time, our goal is to elevate its application to solve key quality improvement functions and to provide health plans with the maximum level of choice, transparency and control over their government programs,” said Jay Ackerman, Reveleer CEO. “With our NLP-Driven HEDIS® Overread solution, we’re proud to further empower our health plan clients using intuitive ML to help them achieve outstanding results often during critical time compressed cycles.”

“Rarely have I met a team as talented as Reveleer’s,” said Ren Roome, Principal, Boston Millennia Partners. “Healthcare is a large market currently being revolutionized by the perfect storm of users pushing for more innovation, and health plans seeking advanced technology so they can serve communities better and manage the transition to value based care. This creates an opportunity to rethink how things have been done for decades, placing Reveleer in an advantageous position with their new NLP solution applied to HEDIS® overread.”

In addition to this game changing innovation, NLP-Driven HEDIS® Overread, Reveleer will be debuting additional NLP functionality to automate Risk Adjustment review in Q4 2020.
