Methodology

The 2021 America’s Best Customer Service rankings were identified from the results of an independent survey of more than 25,000 U.S. customers who have either made purchases, used services, or gathered information about products or services in the past three years. Customers evaluated several brands: in total, 160,000 evaluations were collected. The awarded brands each received, on average, close to 100 evaluations from customers. The survey was conducted on retailers and service providers from 160 categories, providing results for customer experiences in traditional retail, online, and service segments. For each category, the most relevant brands were included in the scope of the survey according to reputation, turnover, or market share. The final assessment and rankings were based on the Net Promoter Score* (50 percent of the final score) and five evaluation criteria (also 50 percent of the final score):

1. Quality of Communication

Measures whether the contact (via e-mail, telephone, or face-to-face) was friendly or polite.

2. Professional Competence

Measures the quality of information received and whether questions were answered correctly and in sufficient detail.

3. Range of Services

Measures the variety of solutions available to fulfill one’s personal expectations.

4. Customer Focus

Measures whether the customer feels acknowledged and important.

5. Accessibility

Measures the availability of customer service in a shop or on a helpline.

The top three to five brands based on category size receiving the highest scores in each category were awarded as America’s Best Customer Service 2021. The survey was conducted using online access panels, providing a representative sample of more than 25,000 American customers. Each of them gave an evaluation of several brands. Youfit Health Clubs Reopens Miami Location at Coconut Grove-Grand Ave.

Youfit Health Clubs is thrilled to welcome members back to the Coconut Grove-Grand Ave. location in Miami, Florida following the location’s temporary closure due to COVID-19. The popular health club, which officially reopened today, is located at 3105 Grace Ave. #311 in the CocoWalk shopping center. Club hours are Monday – Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

After being mandated to shut their doors at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, 85 Youfit health clubs have now reopened around the country. The locations are enforcing strict health and safety protocols to protect members as they work on their fitness goals.

Youfit has committed to meeting all applicable guidelines, including those mandated by the government, and implementing safety precautions including the following:

  • Each and every Youfit Health Clubs location has undergone a deep clean that includes the disinfecting and maintenance of all equipment, surfaces, and facilities.
  • The clubs have implemented social distancing guidelines to keep staff and members safe. This includes creating greater distance between machines and the implementation of no contact check-in and membership enrollment processes.
  • There are regular stringent sanitizing and disinfecting protocols in place.
  • Lockers and showers at each location will be closed for the time being.
  • YouGX Group Fitness classes have begun at select locations. Classes have been redesigned with spacing to encourage social distancing, hand sanitizing is required, attendees must bring their own towels, and classes may be a bit shorter to allow ample time for cleaning and disinfecting between each class. Members can check their local club for when classes will resume, and they can also still work out at home by accessing YouGX classes on Facebook Live.
  • A new membership code of conduct has been implemented.
  • The Youfit team has been fully trained on these new policies and procedures.

Here are 4 ways to cope


For many, this year’s holiday season will look a lot different from years past. A recent study by AARP finds that two-thirds of Americans report feeling increased anxiety since the pandemic began. The sadness of not being able to see (vulnerable) loved ones; the challenge of buying gifts in the face of job loss; and the disappointment of going without the annual traditions all make for a less-than-ideal holiday season. While people across the world try to reconcile their expectations with reality, there are ways to lessen the collective feelings of disappointment.

RaQuel Hopkins is a certified life coach, Forbes contributor, and mental health advocate who offers her top tips for managing feelings of failure and disappointment during an especially difficult season.

1. Manage your expectations. Make sure that what you’re hoping for aligns with your current realities. This requires us to be truthful about our current situation and the current climate that we live in. It also affords us the opportunity to live in the now and take things one step at a time. Disappointment is a pathway to greater awareness and wisdom. Ask yourself if your expectations are reasonable.

2. Reframe your inner speech. Are the things you’re telling yourself helpful or hurtful? Most people think that life is presenting problem after problem, but retrain your brain to see these “problems” as opportunities. If you can do that, you’ll see promise in the holidays instead of lack.

3. Create a plan. Think about what you want both now and in the future. Accomplishing something today sends a reminder that you are not at the mercy of your circumstances. Panning for the next day gives you hope.

4. Remember that you can do this. Consider other situations in your life when you felt hopeless and/ or disappointed. Remind yourself of how you were able to overcome it. What steps did you take? Who supported you? What worked before?

Hopkins encourages those struggling with feelings of failure and disappointment to recall previous times when opportunity emerged from perceived setbacks, and practice managing your expectations during the holidays.

The treatment uniquely combines a tissue warming session with the Hypervolt tool followed by deep massage techniques on specific areas of concern using the ESPA warming Fitness oil and ends with a Cryo T-shock session to heal the muscles.
