Opting for Optimus – Cognizin® Citicoline Featured in New Drinkable Nootropic Supplement

News Image

Nootropic supplement brand Nustait enters the market with its first product launch Optimus, a non-GMO, vegan, gluten-free drinkable nootropic supplement curated with research-backed ingredients for cognitive support, available in a lemon tea flavor.

Optimus, designed to be fast-acting and long-lasting, is a potent nootropic containing the equivalent of eleven capsules packed into one single serving, a move that amounted from co-founder Eduardo Casado’s research on nootropics and his desire to combine the hefty eleven capsules he would take per day into one highly effective nootropic formula.

“Knowing that the nootropic field is growing fast, and that there’s a lot of junk out there, people want and need a quality supplement, which is why we decided to create Optimus,” comments Jesse Casado, co-founder of Nustait, ”One serving contains the equivalent of 11 pills, which means less money while still receiving high quality, high potency, researched-backed ingredients.”

Optimus’ unique formulation consists of popular nootropic ingredients such as ashwagandha and l-theanine, along with Kyowa Hakko’s patented form of citicoline, Cognizin® Citicoline.

Tested in human clinical trials and developed using an innovative fermentation process, Cognizin® Citicoline is a pure, allergen-free ingredient with GRAS status that’s stable and effective*. Cognizin® Citicoline supports mental energy, focus and attention*, helping to keep the brain’s energy centers firing.*

Kyowa Hakko Bio, health ingredient manufacturer of Cognizin® Citicoline and global leaders in the development, manufacturing and marketing of pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals and food products, is “thrilled to have Cognizin® Citicoline featured as a key component of Nustait’s groundbreaking new product,” remarks Elyse Lovett, Senior Marketing Manager, Kyowa Hakko USA. “Kyowa Hakko is always striving for advancement and innovation within the dietary supplement industry, and Cognizin® Citicoline’s addition into this drinkable nootropic product helps to further this mission,” she adds.

Optimus is available for purchase online at http://www.nustait.com. Media interested in setting up an interview with a representative from Kyowa Hakko USA please contact Sara White at sara@adinnyc.com or 212-693-2150.

TONE Networks Unveils Ultimate Guide for Women to Thrive During the Holidays

News Image

“With all the innate work and home pressures of the holiday season, our team of experts is here to support other women.”

TONE Networks, the expert-driven, online microlearning platform for women, has queried their large roster of experts and put together top tips for thriving as busy, working professionals this holiday season.

“As an enterprise solution enabling companies to offer development to all levels of women in an organization, we empower working women to learn, grow and achieve their fullest potential,” said Tone Networks CEO Gemma Toner. “With all the innate work and home pressures of the holiday season, our team of experts is here to support other women.”

While the season can certainly be demanding, TONE’s experts believe it can be a special time with colleagues, clients, friends and family. In order to manage the stress that accompanies the end-of-year pressures, TONE Networks offers the following to advice to keep in mind in the weeks leading up to the holidays:

  • TONE’s own relationship realist, Dr. Ramani Durvasula, recommends remembering what the holidays are about and suggests giving back and volunteering, and reaching out to old friends you don’t often see. In the madness of trying to make sure every “I” is dotted and “T” crossed, it’s easy to lose sight of the spirit of goodwill the holidays let us cultivate.
  • With the holidays prompting a detour from bedtime routines, TONE’s sleep expert Nancy Rothstein has a few tips for staying awake during the holidays – and enjoying those waking hours! She suggests power naps in the afternoon so you are refreshed for any evening activities, not drinking holiday drinks too close to bedtime so you can sleep soundly, and taking a warm shower before bedtime to wind down and transition to sleep in peace.
  • Diet Scientist Traci Fields practices yoga and meditation and encourages others to do so, especially during times of stress. This will help center the mind and body to stay focused in the bustle of the season.
  • Transformational psychologist Dr. Debi Silber suggests taking a few minutes each day to reflect on the true meaning of the season and what is important. This helps to put things into perspective and makes some of the things on the worry list seem just a little more manageable. For some, it can also be a painful time of year so she also recommends using this time to create a new experience to bring a new meaning to the holidays. Doing something just for you that brings joy and fulfillment can be the beginning of a new way to celebrate and ring in the New Year.

And for those in search of the perfect holiday gift for the hardworking corporate woman, a full year subscription to TONE Networks – including interactive online coaching sessions, unlimited microlearning content and exclusive livestreaming events – can be gifted for $49.90.

About TONE Networks: TONE Networks is a scalable video-based learning and development platform that empowers female employees through expert content, live coaching and a vibrant online community. The #1 reason people won’t return to a fitness class is a sub-par playlist, according to this music tech company

According to the consumers surveyed, the quality of the workout playlist is more important than the quality of the instructor, the time or location, or even the total cost of the class.

Today Feed.fm, the technology platform that makes it easy for brands to seamlessly harness the power of music, share the results of a survey of 1,000 Americans about what moves them when they work out.

The surprising results? The music that moves us can also keep us from coming back to a gym or group fitness class. According to the consumers surveyed, the quality of the workout playlist is more important than the quality of the instructor, the time or location, or even the total cost of the class.

“With boutique fitness locations charging upwards of $30 a class, it’s surprising that people wouldn’t return just because they don’t like the music, but it speaks to how important a great soundtrack is to the quality of a workout,” said Feed.fm COO Lauren Pufpaf. “People would rather eat the cost of an expensive class than suffer through a playlist that clashes with their taste.”

Survey respondents nearly unanimously reported that listening to music had a positive impact on the frequency, quality and intensity of their workouts:

  • 66% said that they’d skip a workout altogether if they couldn’t listen to music;
  • 93% said that music moderately or majorly impacts the quality and intensity of their workout;
  • And 88% agreed that listening to the right mix of music improves their physical performance.

The top 10 artists powering their playlists include an eclectic mix of country (Luke Bryan), hip-hop (Eminem, Drake, Tupac), rock (AC/DC) and pop (Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Madonna, Rihanna). 62% said that there was no such thing as a guilty pleasure when it came to their workout playlists – just great songs.

In the age of specialty gyms and boutique fitness, what is perhaps more surprising is that ¾ of respondents reported that they primarily workout at home, and ⅔ reported using health and fitness apps to guide their workouts. The most popular workouts? Half of survey respondents run, closely followed by weight lifting, with yoga and cycling tied for the third most popular exercise format.

“For fitness brands, whether they’re building studios or digital experiences (or both!), these survey results show they need to be investing in a second-to-none music experience to keep members engaged,” said Pufpaf. “These results echo scientific research and direct customer feedback that directly ties how frequently and intensely we work out with the music we listen to.”

Feed.fm creates easy-to-integrate, uniquely curated music stations that power 40+ of the most popular at-home health and fitness platforms has seen similar results in their own customer data. According to the company, by baking curated music stations into the fabric of their client’s apps, 79% of their customers double their 90-day subscriber retention rate. Other key metrics, including frequency of use, length of session times, and conversion from trial to paid all see huge improvements ranging from 50% – 1,000%.

About Feed.fm

Feed.fm is a technology platform that makes it easy for brands to legally and seamlessly harness the power of music to engage and retain their customers. Feed.fm’s team handles the licensing and technical integration of curated music stations to help brands increase key growth and customer retention metrics. Based in San Francisco, Feed.fm was co-founded by Jeff Yasuda (CEO), Lauren Pufpaf (COO) and Eric Lambrecht (CTO), and is backed by investors that include Crunchfund, Core Ventures Group, KEC Ventures, and Fyrfly. Cheef Botanicals Launches New Line of CBD Hemp Flower

cbd hemp flower

Cannabis users can now legally consume hemp flower and enjoy the benefits of CBD without becoming intoxicated.

Cheef Botanicals, a leading CBD manufacturer, today announced a new line of Premium CBD Hemp Flower, which includes popular strains such as Lifter and Hawaiian Haze. The line of hemp flower fills a gap in the manufacturer’s offering that meets growing consumer demand. The popularity of CBD flower has been growing year over year, as consumers are learning about legal forms of the cannabis plant.

“To this day, there is confusion about the cannabis flower and the difference between hemp and marijuana. Per the 2018 Farm Bill, hemp flower is now federally legal and contains high levels of CBD, with extremely low amounts of THC. Because of this, cannabis users can now legally consume hemp flower and enjoy the benefits of CBD without becoming intoxicated,” says Dareh Zadoorian, Owner of Cheef Botanicals. “After months of careful research, we have partnered with premium hemp farms in Oregon that cultivate plants using strict growing standards.”

The premium CBD hemp flower is currently available in two strains and two sizes, based on consumer preference:

  • CBD Hemp Flower, Lifter – 4g; MSRP $24.95
  • CBD Hemp Flower, Hawaiian Haze – 4g; MSRP $24.95
  • CBD Hemp Flower, Lifter – 7g; MSRP $39.95
  • CBD Hemp Flower, Hawaiian Haze – 7g; MSRP $39.95

The CBD flowers are currently available on the Cheef Botanicals website, CheefBotanicals.com, and will begin shipping to retailers this month. The new line expands Cheef Botanicals’ offering of CBD products to also include flower. All products are lab tested by a third party to ensure that purity and quality standards are met, and THC levels are under 0.3%. For more information on CBD hemp flower, visit Cheef Botanicals.

Announcing the Little Known Benefits of an Amazing Fruit Extract That Offers Protection from Hangovers, Physical Stress, Jet Lag and Diving Fatigue

An extract derived from the epicarp (skin) of the Prickly Pear cactus fruit delivers bioactivity that protects and restores cells and tissue in the human body. In doing so, the amazing extract, trademarked Tex-OE, Opuntia Mesocarp Extract,® defends against virtually all types of stress: physical; chemical; thermal; oxidative; ionizing – even mental stress, jet lag, and divers’ decompression fatigue.

The revolutionary botanical extract was discovered by renowned cell biology/pharmacology researchers at ICP-Texinfine, Lyon, France from a plant that thrives in the scorching temperatures of the world’s deserts. The Prickly Pear fruit is a member of the Cactus family known as Opuntia ficus indica. In their extensive examination of the cactus, the scientific team uncovered an incredible survivability finding. The unique environmental defense mechanism of the cactus fruit centers on its ability to regulate and rapidly induce the synthesis of protective and restorative Heat Shock Proteins (HSPs).

In the human body, HSPs play a natural protection and recovery role to prevent damage from stresses and the pain and fatigue that damage to cells and tissue brings. HSPs are the vital proteins that help protect our cells and tissue and enable them to recover from stresses of all types. Unfortunately it normally takes 2-3 hours for HSPs to elevate in our body, in response to stresses, allowing damage to occur. To rapidly accelerate the synthesis of our protective proteins, (up to 20 times faster) the scientists developed the extract, Tex-OE®, with special bioactive molecules made bio-available by a patented process. The extract has been clinically proven to protect the human body against various types of aggressions by greatly enhancing the ability of the body to rapidly accelerate synthesis of the stress proteins that prevent inflammation.

A Southern California company, Nutrimark™ LLC, is marketing the patented extract, Tex-OE®, in two products aimed at distinctly different markets: Prepair™ Anti-Fatigue and Exhaustion Formula, is directed at physical fitness enthusiasts, scuba divers and anyone simply interested in preventing fatigue, exhaustion, and Jet Lag Disorder.

HPF Hangover Prevention Formula™, also containing Tex-OE® has been clinically proven in a double blind study at Tulane University Medical Center among 60 graduate medical students. The study was peer-reviewed and published by the American Medical Association in one of the nation’s most prestigious medical journals—The Archives of Internal Medicine. The product is being marketed to anyone who wants to “prevent” the morning-after ravages of a hangover – instead of trying to cure an existing one.

One dose of the products containing Tex-OE® will provide the protection needed to help the body overcome the effects of various types of stress for a period up to 72 hours. Products may be ordered by calling (800) 720-2970. Or, by visiting: http://www.nutrimark.net.

Prepair™, HPF Hangover Prevention Formula™ and Tex-OE™ are distributed by:
