Aliant Payments to Pay Its Employees a Compensation Package in Cryptocurrency

“Being a leader in the crypto and payments space, the Aliant team is always working to educate merchants and lead by example,” said Aliant CEO Eric Brown. “I’m so grateful to work with this amazing team, and I can’t think of a better way to compensate them for the value they bring to our community.”

Aliant Payments, a leading U.S. based provider of merchant services and payment processing, announced today that it will be paying each of its employees part of their compensation package in cryptocurrency. The employees will be paid in a combination of Bitcoin and Litecoin.

“The fintech industry is growing and changing rapidly, and this is a way for our employees to be a part of Aliant’s involvement in this shift to digital currency,” said Aliant CEO Eric Brown. “Each member of the Aliant team now has a vested interest in cryptocurrency not just as something they work on in the office. The more our team utilizes digital currency, the better our customer user experience will be. This benefits Aliant as a company, and our employees as invested customers.”

Aliant became one of the first payment processing companies to offer merchants the ability to accept cryptocurrency payments in September 2017. In July 2018 it announced that it had developed its own domestic, fully compliant solution that processes crypto payments, converts cryptocurrency to USD, and offers merchants next day payouts. Aliant’s payment processing system, called CryptoBucks, mitigates the risk of volatility of cryptocurrencies for merchants, making easier the adoption of cryptocurrencies by anyone.

“Adoption happens when you’re able to earn cryptocurrency, and then go on to spend it,” said Aliant CEO Eric Brown. “Being a leader in the crypto and payments space, the Aliant team is always working to educate merchants, and lead by example. I’m so grateful to work with this amazing team, and I can’t think of a better way to compensate them for the value they bring to our community.”

Made Rugged from the Inside Out

Both tablets meet MIL-STD-810G from a 5-foot drop, IP65 sealed to withstand dust, dirt, rain and snow. This allows companies to get work done while protecting their investment. With the end user in mind, the tablets feature ergonomic considerations like glove-fitting back hand strap and a briefcase handle. An innovative magnetic mount system is available to magnetically attached to metal walls and sides of machinery or vehicles without having to drill holes. MobileDemand also offers RAM mounting solutions to work with existing mounting systems.

Enhancements for Productivity

From a company who specializes in improving productivity for enterprise businesses, the T1180/A1180 wouldn’t be complete without a variety of productivity add-ons. iBUYPOWER, a leading manufacturer of custom gaming PCs, today announced its new MR Series of PC cases, expanding upon the company’s signature Slate, Trace and Element series of cases.

The Slate MR, Trace MR and Element MR all feature a black, partial-mirror finish on the front and side tempered glass panels. While similar in specifications, each of the MR cases feature a strikingly different aesthetic design on the front panel. The Element MR is designed with the same classic, flat face of its predecessor while the Slate and Trace MR both have three-dimensional crystalline shapes. Continuing the triangular pattern on the current Slate case, the MR version is constructed with three separate asymmetrical tempered glass panels. In comparison, the front panel of the Trace MR is composed of more traditional clean edges that come together to form a symmetrical trapezoid.

Costco Connection

Now easier than ever to purchase a reliable gaming PC, users will find iBUYPOWER systems, housed in the new Element MR, available for purchase at 538 Costco warehouse locations across the United States starting on October 1st. Just in time for the holiday season, iBUYPOWER has designed a system to pack a punch and support both entry level and experienced gamers.

Equipped with the 9th generation Intel® Core™ i7-9700F processor, latest NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX 2060 SUPER™, over two TB of storage, 16GB of DDR4 and Microsoft Windows 10 Home edition, the CO900iV2 gaming system will come plug and play ready. iBUYPOWER is the first desktop local OEM (DT LOEM) in the gaming industry to have its products approved for in-store, warehouse sales at Costco.

When travelling, the rugged power bank easily detaches from the stand to use MyPort as an on-the-go portable power platform. The portable wireless power bank brings along a 10,000 mAh Qi-certified 10W wireless battery with 18W USB-C and USB-A ports to supply power for both your wireless and wired devices. This portable feature conveniently offers two charging options – either charge a tablet, phone or Apple Watch (via its charger) by connecting its USB or USB-C cable for fast charging, or just rest a smart phone, AirPods or other wireless charging earbuds on the 10 W power bank to wireless charge the device.

“There is no such seamless and simple product like MyPort on the market yet that combines the functionality of a charging stand, wireless charger, and a powerful power bank while eliminating the need of having 3 devices on your desk, ensuring one’s devices are always charged at home, in the office or on the go,” said Ammar Adra, founder and president of RapidX.
