Panorama Consulting Group Releases 2020 Analysis of SAP, Oracle, Microsoft and Infor

SAP vs. Oracle vs. Microsoft vs. Infor

One of the most interesting findings was the types of business initiatives organizations included in their digital strategies. Enterprise asset management (EAM) functionality was by far the most popular among Infor customers.

The digital business transformation and ERP consulting firm, Panorama Consulting Group, recently released an independent report relevant to organizations evaluating ERP software. The report reveals the selection and implementation decisions of organizations implementing SAP, Oracle, Microsoft or Infor ERP systems.

“One of the most interesting findings was the types of business initiatives organizations included in their digital strategies,” said Chris Devault, Director of Industry Relations at Panorama. “Enterprise asset management (EAM) functionality was by far the most popular among Infor customers.”

The report also discusses digital business transformation and analyzes which vendors’ customers are more apt to pursue this type of initiative as opposed to an ERP implementation. The data revealed that more than half of Microsoft customers categorized their initiative as a digital business transformation. This was not true for the other vendors’ customers, the majority of whom used technology for digital optimization rather than transformation.

“At this year’s Inforum conference, Infor mentioned that the majority of their projects are actually digital optimizations,” said Devault. “Digital optimization focuses on optimizing existing processes and improving business models as opposed to creating new business models.”

paplio has again achieved their goal of providing customers across the globe with the wireless tech accessories that fill the gaps created in the digital world. It isn’t hard to see the benefit of wireless audio accessories, whether it is at home, in the office, or even places like running or at the gym. Having a cord hanging from one’s ears, if often an annoyance, the cable gets in the way of the regular tasks and removing it can be hugely liberating. Many of the Bluetooth earbuds on the market today pour their efforts into the ergonomic design but forgot that users demand outstanding sound quality. paplio DASH strikes the perfect balance between the excellent sound quality, ergonomic design, and long-lasting battery life.

paplio DASH, the next-level Bluetooth 5.0 True Wireless Stereo earbuds, offer ultra-reliable connectivity to your Bluetooth device allowing DASH to eliminate audio lag and any lip-sync delay during the audio streams and even 4K video. The paplio DASH features High-Resolution grade driver units to produce powerful bass, crisp highs, and crunchy mids that when combined, elevate the audio experience without compromise.

The DASH reveals an excellent level of detail throughout the frequency range, making the soundstage wide and extensive. It allows even the amateur listener can identify the approximate location of where each instrument is playing when listening to the classical or acoustic instrument performance. Further, the DASH shows a significant advantage in playing all types of music from Hip Hop, EDM, even Metal Rock due to its bass-boost driver and its dynamic response technology. In order to deliver the clarity of sound in noisy environments, the better sound isolation and the best in class ear tip is equipped, the DASH comes with three different sizes to fit in any ear canal for an excellent noise-canceling and security.

“Bluetooth 5.0 is a wonderful wireless medium and the DASH earbuds use this to the fullest,” claimed Judy Lin, the Marketing Manager at paplio. “Being able to walk around, roll over in bed, or exercise while wearing them is a key benefit to this product. Nothing is complete unless you can do that while still enjoying premium-quality audio, with powerful bass and no lag or interference, which DASH can deliver.”

paplio DASH offers a 20-meter operating range without sound quality degradation. This range allows users the maximum flexibility in between the sound source and the DASH earbuds. The DASH users are given the most advanced battery technology to ensure an incredible 20 hours combined total playtime (earbud + charging case battery life), and a quick charging design only takes 15 minutes for a full 1 hour of playtime. The DASH is IPX5 grade sweatproof and water-resistant that making them perfectly customized for outdoor exercise and all kinds of activities.

The design of the DASH earbuds stresses performance, reliability, and longevity, which make the earbuds a top choice for use with active lives. They have won praise for use in the gym while riding a bike or running. By removing the cord, a workout can once again be comfortable and a way to re-center after a stressful day.

Initial customer feedback has been extremely positive for those who have been able to enjoy these next-generation earbuds. Amy F., from New York, recently said, “I run and do CrossFit and hated having earphone wires dangling in front of me as I ran. paplio has solved this for me with these amazing DASH earbuds. CONVERGE CFD Software Allows for Massive Scalability and Improved Accuracy with Release of Version 3.0

https://www.prweb.com/

Simulation of flow and combustion in a multi-cylinder spark-ignition engine. Improved load balancing and reduced memory in CONVERGE 3.0 allow you to run large cases quickly.

At the end of the day, CONVERGE 3.0 opens the door to larger, faster, and more diverse simulations than ever before.

Convergent Science has released the highly anticipated new version of their computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software, CONVERGE 3.0. CONVERGE 3.0 builds on previous versions with new features, enhancements, and expanded capabilities. One of the most notable enhancements in CONVERGE 3.0 is a dramatic improvement in scaling—users will see significant speedup when running the software on large numbers of processors.

“In CONVERGE 3.0, we switched from partitioning the domain on blocks coarser than the solution grid to partitioning the solution grid directly,” says Keith Richards, co-owner of Convergent Science and one of the principal developers of CONVERGE. “This allows us to get a good load balance for any solution mesh, including those with very high levels of embedding, and means CONVERGE scales well even on thousands of cores.”

The way CONVERGE stores information during simulation runtime has also been modified in version 3.0, resulting in a greatly reduced memory footprint. Additionally, CONVERGE’s post-processor, Tecplot for CONVERGE, is more seamlessly integrated into the software, creating a smoother workflow for users.

CONVERGE 3.0 offers more flexibility in meshing than previous versions. With autonomous meshing, CONVERGE automatically generates an optimized Cartesian mesh at runtime. In 3.0, users can optionally incorporate an inlaid mesh in a region of the grid to obtain accurate results with fewer cells. Inlaid meshes can be aligned with the flow direction to reduce numerical viscosity, or users can refine the mesh in only one or two directions instead of all three. This allows users to accurately resolve boundary layers, for example, at a reduced computational cost by increasing mesh resolution only normal to the wall.

Among the new features in CONVERGE are two new combustion models. The thickened flame model for use in conjunction with LES (TFM-LES) is useful for simulations with large differences in length scales, like resolving the flame front in a boiler. The second new model, SAGE PDF, accounts for turbulence-chemistry interactions in flames modeled with RANS.

CONVERGE’s chemistry capabilities have also been enhanced in version 3.0. The SAGE detailed chemistry solver has seen significant speedup, especially for large reaction mechanisms, making CONVERGE one of the fastest chemistry solvers on the market. In addition, CONVERGE 3.0 includes numerous new chemistry tools, including new 0D chemical reactors, a new 1D flamespeed solver, and enhanced tools for manipulating chemical mechanisms.

“At the end of the day,” says Richards, “CONVERGE 3.0 opens the door to larger, faster, and more diverse simulations than ever before.”

About Convergent Science

Headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin, Convergent Science is a global leader in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software. Our mission is to enable our customers to perform revolutionary CFD simulations by creating accurate, versatile, user-friendly software and providing unparalleled support.

Our flagship product, CONVERGE, is an innovative CFD software that eliminates the grid generation bottleneck through autonomous meshing and features a suite of advanced physical models, fully coupled detailed chemistry, and the ability to easily accommodate moving geometries. World’s Greatest (Photoshop) Dad Shows What Kids Do When Nobody’s Looking

https://www.prweb.com/

It’s the secret lives of babies, and we’ve never seen them so clearly.

The last time the world saw Hannah Crowley, she was an infant perched above a lake, dangling from a banister, steering a car and making parents everywhere lose their collective minds.

Her father Stephen’s Photoshop skills made the images possible. Now he and Hannah are back, working on a new project to help kids facing real-life danger.

In 2017, Hannah was emerging from hospitalization and treatment for a rare immune disorder, which involved chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. Stephen took photos of her out and about for the first time, and edited her into mischievous scenes to entertain their family. He shared the photos on Reddit and soon after, Mashable, CBS News, BuzzFeed, The A.V. Club and other news outlets came calling.

Today, Hannah is a healthy preschooler and “the happiest kid in the world,” said Stephen. “She could not have made a more perfect recovery.”

Baby gear brand Summer remembered Stephen’s design wizardry and asked him to team up on a project. Summer wanted to showcase the high resolution of its new Baby Pixel Zoom HD video baby monitor by revealing what babies do when nobody’s looking.

Stephen created a series of new images that would make any parent drop their can of White Claw and run for the nursery.

“It’s the secret lives of babies, and we’ve never seen them so clearly,” said Summer VP Brand Marketing Jen Johnson.

“Caught in the Act” shows a baby scaling a shelf to reach a toy, escaping her crib and perched on the family dog – all from a baby monitor’s perspective.

For the shoot, Stephen enlisted the best photo assistant he knew: Hannah.

In the video trailer, Hannah, now 4 years old, can be seen assembling props, wearing her dad’s camera and helping him line up the perfect shot with a friend’s daughter.

Through the end of the year, Summer has committed to matching 10% of sales on the Baby Pixel Zoom HD monitor on summerinfant.com to Be The Match bone marrow registry, which Stephen credits with Hannah’s survival.

“There were only three potential matches for Hannah in the world, and Be The Match Registry is where we found them,” said Stephen.

“The funds raised through this partnership will help patients, just like Hannah, receive the care and treatment they need for a second chance at life,” said Be The Match Chief Advancement Officer Joy King.

“Hannah definitely inherited her dad’s sense of humor, and we love watching her on the other side of the camera for something that could help other kids survive a journey like hers,” said Johnson.

About Be The Match®

For people with life-threatening blood cancers — like leukemia and lymphoma — or other diseases, a cure exists. Be The Match connects patients with their donor match for a life-saving marrow or umbilical cord blood transplant. People can contribute to the cure as a member of the Be The Match Registry®, financial contributor or volunteer. Be The Match provides patients and their families one-on-one support, education, and guidance before, during and after transplant. Be The Match is operated by the National Marrow Donor Program® (NMDP), a nonprofit organization that matches patients with donors, educates health care professionals and conducts research through its research program, CIBMTR® (Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research®), so more lives can be saved. To learn more about the cure, visit BeTheMatch.org or call 1 (800) MARROW-2.
