Judi Craig Promoted to Lead Woolpert’s Roads and Bridges Market

Cimetrics Announce Secured by Cimetrics™ Early Access Program to Accelerate Holistic Building Cybersecurity


Boston based Cimetrics, Inc. today announce the start of the Secured by Cimetrics™ Early Access Program (SbC-EA) designed to rapidly deploy BACnet/SC and the Secured by Cimetrics (SbC) security management framework to the building automation industry.

The Secured by Cimetrics cybersecurity management framework, now included as part of Cimetrics’ leading range of BACnet stack products, is designed to supplement the recently released BACnet/SC standard to provide building automation systems a holistic, device-to-cloud technology stack.

Secured by Cimetrics will enable BAS vendors to rapidly bring to market products that conform to the security needs of IT and security organizations, allow system integrators to quickly deliver secure BAS projects, and provide building owners the peace of mind that their building automation systems are protected with the best cybersecurity technologies and tools.

The program has so far garnered the support of leading system vendors across the world. Cimetrics’ existing customer base for its BACnet stack product lines, representing 60% of vendors in the industry, will gain immediate access to Secured by Cimetrics once it is released in late 2020. Companies using their own, or third party stacks will be able to participate in the Early Access program to be part of the consensus-building process so that their systems are compatible with the resulting specifications, and with Secured by Cimetrics.

Cimetrics will be showing its Secured by Cimetrics framework in its booth #666 at the AHR Expo 2020, the annual gathering of the BAS industry in Orlando, Florida February 3-5, 2020.
