VHS Learning’s New Flexible Courses Expand Student Options for Online Course Enrollment

We specifically designed these courses for students who wish to have more flexibility in their academic schedule. Now, whether they’re working toward academic goals, career goals, or simply want to explore a new interest, our Flexible courses give them more choice when they embark on learning.

Scheduling flexibility is frequently cited by students and teachers as a major benefit of working with VHS Learning’s asynchronous online courses. Starting in August, students will be able to take advantage of an even more flexibly paced course format.

The new Flexible course model will be available for 16 courses beginning in the 2022-2023 academic year:

Each Flexible course is self-paced, and teacher led. Courses begin on the first of every month from August through February (August through December for AP® courses). The courses will end at the completion of the school year, so later enrollees will progress through course material at a faster pace.

Magento is one of the 10 most popular eCommerce platforms. It powers 67,789 online stores, according to Datanyze. The release of Magento 2 aims to improve the shopping experience by incorporating advanced features, including better security, faster loading times and enhanced usability.

DesignRush, a B2B marketplace connecting businesses with agencies, leveraged its 13,000-agencies-strong network for quick insights – or “QuickSights” – on the tips on how to migrate from Magento 1 to 2.

1) CREATE A MIGRATION PLAN

According to Vishal Lakhani, CEO at Rock Technolabs, the key to migrating from Magento 1 to 2 lies in creating a migration plan that incorporates all the key stages, from installing extensions to testing and launching the online store.

“Seamless migration from Magento 1 to 2 process includes creating a migration plan,” said Lakhani. “You should consider preparing the proper testing environment, migrating themes, installing extensions, customizing functionality, migrating data, testing & synchronizing the database and finally launching your Magento 2 store on a live server.”

2) THINK OF IT AS A WHOLE NEW PROJECT

Roger Rodrigo, head of engineering at Interactiv4, believes that to seamlessly migrate from Magento 1 to 2, developers should approach the process as if they are working on a totally new project.

”When you plan to upgrade Magento 1 to Adobe Commerce or Magento Open Source, formerly known as Magento 2, you should think of it as a whole new project,” said Rodrigo. “It’s not just a version upgrade; it is a migration to a different platform with its own code architecture and advanced features. Use this as an excellent opportunity to rethink and improve your online store to get more out of it.”

Industrial PC’s like the IPC970 are designed for intensive applications with limited space to work with. Despite the space restriction, industrial PC’s such as the IPC970 are capable of utilizing powerful hardware including 10th generation Intel processors and the Nvidia RTX 3090.

The IPC970 operates with the Intel WQ480E chipset meaning that the LGA1200 processor socket can support the 10th generation intel core and Xeon processors from i3 to i7. For RAM, the board supports dual channel DDR4 DIMM 2933 MHz memory up to a maximum capacity of 128 GB. SNACKCLUB, a new sister company to LOUD, gaming’s fastest-growing international brand with 300M combined followers, and the first gaming organization to reach a billion views on YouTube (link), has secured $9M in seed funding to launch a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) committed to reimagining ownership in gaming. Historically, gamers have had no possession over the currency, equipment, or assets their characters have procured through the hundreds, if not thousands, of hours invested in modern gaming titles. The proliferation of Web3, allows users to “mint” in-game items to an external blockchain wallet that immediately grants rare assets value and provides the liquidity necessary to unlock new, global economies. Reflecting on LOUD’s experience as Brazil’s largest esports and gaming-lifestyle group, blockchain gaming could be the future of work for young players in developing, low-earning countries.

As a DAO, SNACKCLUB will soon operate under a community leadership structure that welcomes fans to equitably participate in the company’s operation by voting on major decisions. There is no fee to join and anyone over 18 years old with internet access is invited to participate. In fact, the majority of SNACKCLUB’s ownership and governance rights will be reserved for community onboarding after the company’s founders and investors have finalized a strategic vision later this year. Mechanism Capital led the $9M seed round with other participation from Animoca, Ascensive Assets, Formless Capital, Jump Crypto, OP Crypto, ROK Capital, and Shima Capital.

Over time, users will inform strategic decisions including what game concepts to lift, and the mechanics behind each game’s economy.
