Smart & Final Deploys Hypersonix’s AI-Driven Analytics

Smart and Final Stores Chooses Hypersonix

“Hypersonix is a key ingredient in leveraging actionable analytics that can be operationalized by our business teams as part of our on-going digital transformation,” — Ed Wong, EVP and Chief Digital Officer at Smart & Final.

Smart & Final is rolling out Hypersonix’s AI-driven analytics platform to support the company’s enterprise analytics and digital transformation initiatives. The two companies started working together sixty days ago on a successful pilot program. With this announcement, Smart & Final officially joins a handful of early adopters in the grocery and consumer-commerce industries turning to the innovative company to help navigate the post-COVID-19 market.

“Hypersonix is a key ingredient in leveraging actionable analytics that can be operationalized by our business teams as part of our on-going digital transformation,” said Ed Wong, EVP and Chief Digital Officer at Smart & Final. “We established a great innovation-centric collaboration with Hypersonix where we are finding new ways to address our needs in key strategic areas for our business.”

Built by former executives from SAP, PayPal and IBM, and funded by Intel Capital, Hypersonix offers a cloud-based Unified Data Analytics Platform that is designed to ingest and integrate disparate data sources that reside in software applications from various vendors. These applications include Point-of-Sale, eCommerce, Merchandising, Marketing, and Inventory platforms. Hypersonix tears down data silos and provides a 360-degree view on customer behaviors, localized product assortments and operational processes, essentially becoming the glue to support data-driven decisions.

“Smart & Final is clearly a shopper-centric and innovative retailer, and we are excited to partner with them,” said Todd P. Michaud, President and Chief Customer Officer of Hypersonix. “As an increasingly data-driven culture, Smart & Final is leveraging our autonomous intelligence applications powered by robust data science and machine learning to enable profitable revenue growth.”

With Hypersonix, Smart & Final has empowered non-technical stakeholders with descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analytics. They have also helped Smart & Final understand how its various customer channels are doing while optimizing each channel to serve the rapidly changing needs of their online and in-store shoppers.

“Quickly turning insight into action is the key to success in today’s competitive retail environment,” said Joe VanDette, Group Vice President, Marketing at Smart & Final. “The accessible, conversational nature of Hypersonix’s platform allows our business leaders to leverage that insight directly, without the constraints typically associated with traditional data analysis.”

Unlike competing solutions, Hypersonix offers a simple “Google-like” user experience. This approach supports non-technical users across the organization to harness data-driven insights without dependency on data analysts or information technology professionals. This accessibility enables Smart & Final’s leaders to use text or voice to quickly query their data on any device including their computer, tablet, or smart phone. The Hypersonix platform, regardless of the user device, has been augmented with a virtual intelligent decision agent named “Jarvix,” which leverages the latest innovations in Natural Language Processing (NLP).

For more information on how Hypersonix is being used by grocery retailers, please visit the Hypersonix site.

RangeXTD, Wi-Fi Extender and Signal Booster Launch Announcement

RangeXTD wifi booster provides full internet coverage for your home.

RangeXTD is a WiFi booster that was specifically created for homes with many rooms that don’t get perfect internet coverage.

What Is RangeXTD?

RangeXTD is a WiFi booster that was specifically created for homes with many rooms that don’t get perfect internet coverage. This device allows all residents to enjoy high-speed internet at the same time no matter where they are in the house. They can even be outside — on the porch or in the backyard — and still comfortably surf their favorite sites.

The manufacturer claims that RangeXTD WiFi booster is great for all kinds of activities — online gaming, streaming, watching movies, downloading large files, even working from home. With its connection speed of up to 300 Mbps, it’s certainly one of the most impressive amplifiers on the market. To put it in a perspective, with such internet speed, a 30GB file can get downloaded in just 15 minutes.

RangeXTD also has tremendous potential to make life much easier for those who travel a lot. It’s an amplifier that doubles as a router, so it’s possible to use it outside of the house — in cafes, gas stations, or hotel rooms. This device allows the user to set up a password, thus preventing strangers from using the internet for free. In addition, it’s much safer to connect to it than to hotspots.

How Does RangeXTD Work?

RangeXTD may sound like a complicated device, but it’s surprisingly easy to use. Even those who normally don’t do well with technology won’t find any issues with its installation. And for any questions that might arise, the device comes with a manual where everything’s explained, along with a toll-free customer service line for tech support.

Here is how it works. After taking it out of the package, press the WPS button to enable safe encryption. Then, plug it in somewhere between the router and the dead zone and connect it to Wi-Fi. RangeXTD will guide users through the whole process, so it should be quite painless.

Ultimately, the wifi repeater uses its two antennas to amplify and transmit the signal that’s coming from the router. It can catch the signal even in the rooms which are considered to be dead zones, and then boost it. Thus, the whole house gets nice coverage.

RangeXTD Main Features

  • Transfer speeds of up to 300 Mbps. RangeXTD provides lightning-fast internet that several people can use at the same time. These high speeds are great for gaming, streaming, and downloading large files in a matter of minutes.
  • Extends the range of the router. RangeXTD WiFi extender ensures that there are no “Wi-Fi dead zones” in the house. The internet is fast in all rooms, no matter how far from the router they are. Even the backyard is covered.
  • Overcomes obstacles. Thick walls can interfere with the Wi-Fi signal, but they are no match for RangeXTD. The signal is just as strong behind a wall as it is right next to the router.
  • Easy to set up. As soon as it’s out of the box, it’s ready to use. Even those who aren’t tech-savvy won’t have any trouble setting up the device and using it.
  • Small and compact. It fits comfortably in the hand, so it’s easy to carry around and make room for it in a travel bag.
  • Repeater, router, and access point in one. RangeXTD can be used at home to increase the coverage of already available Wi-Fi, but it can also act as a router. It’s perfect for people who travel and need to get some work done — all they need to do is connect it to their laptops.
  • Secure internet. RangeXTD uses passwords and encryption to protect against freeloading and data-stealing. It’s much safer to use than public Wi-Fi hotspots, especially when dealing with sensitive information from work.
  • Better internet without additional monthly bills. There are no hidden costs or contracts to sign — RangeXTD doesn’t add a single cent to monthly bills.

The only way to buy it is through the official RangeXTD website as there are no physical stores that sell it. This could be inconvenient for some customers, but the company has decided to apply a 30 days money back guarantee.

What Do the Customers Say?

In their RangeXTD reviews, customers have said that this Wi-Fi booster is a must-have for large homes. Instead of suffering a one-bar signal in some rooms, now they have a consistently fast internet everywhere in the house. Here is what a few users said about the RangeXTD WiFi repeater.

“I take a lot of business trips and I can’t risk opening work emails on public Wi-Fi. This lets me set up my own private high-speed connection anywhere. It’s fantastic, I recommended it to everyone in my office.” — Debby F, Salt Lake City.

“No more buffering!!! I ordered one of these for my living room and now my TV can stream anything from YouTube or Netflix at full-speed no problem.” — Luis R, Atlanta.

“I’ve tried other Wi-Fi boosters before, but unless I was standing right next to them, they barely made a difference. This is totally different!! I put one in my upstairs hallway and now the entire floor has a crazy-fast connection.” — Joseph P, Minneapolis.

Just as RangeXTD reviews say, this product is dependable and worth looking into. It ensures that there are no more long buffering times, dead zones, and loading issues. In fact, every corner of the house will have access to strong signal and fast internet.

Overall, this product got overwhelmingly positive feedback both from reviewers and from regular customers.

To help customers acquire RangeXTD Wifi Booster, the company is offering a special price reduction of 50% .

In addition, the product comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. So if there are any issues with it, the company gives a full refund. Currently, this WiFi booster is available on the RangeXTD Official site.

Polyverse Announces Polyscripting for WordPress

Polyscripted WordPress Installation

“Now, Enterprise WordPress customers can gain peace of mind that they have a powerful way to help protect their WordPress sites against cyberattacks with Polyverse Polyscripting for WordPress.” – Alex Gounares Polyverse CEO

Polyverse Corporation today announced the immediate availability of Polyscripting for WordPress at WordCamp Denver.

Polyscripting was created to completely remove the three most common attack vectors against WordPress — Remote Code Execution, Backdoor and File Inclusion.

WordPress is the most popular content management system in the world and one of the most popular blogging platforms. WordPress powers 35% of websites on the internet and 60% of all CMS-based websites today. That widespread popularity makes WordPress a frequent target of malicious attackers. 90% of all hacked CMS sites were WordPress in 2018 and 70% of current WordPress installations are vulnerable to known (and patched) issues.

“WordPress is an amazing platform used by millions of individuals, and small and large companies. Alas, with such popularity comes risk. Polyscripting removes that risk,” said Alex Gounares, Polyverse Founder and CEO. “Now, Enterprise WordPress customers can gain peace of mind that they have a powerful way to help protect their WordPress sites against cyberattacks with Polyverse Polyscripting for WordPress.”

Rather than having a website owner endlessly attempt to juggle the time, cost, and impact of patching in relation to the severity of exploits discovered, Polyscripting simply prevents exploits from executing.

Polyscripting for WordPress removes the problem of Remote Code Execution, Backdoor and File Inclusion attacks by transparently scrambling the syntax and grammar of the language in which WordPress is built (PHP), preventing any non-approved code from executing. This enables the detection and defense of cyberattacks in a clean and elegant way.

Polyverse Polyscripting for WordPress is applied easily and transparently without impacting the developer’s productivity or runtime performance. Polyscripting for WordPress is installed using a compact one-line command that connects to a customer’s existing WordPress files and MySQL/MariaDB database.

Enterprise WordPress users can contact Polyverse for a demo of the new solution at https://info.polyverse.com/demo-polyscripting-for-wordpress

About Polyverse:

Zivra Announces Strategic Partnership With Eggplant to Resell and Deliver High-Quality Test Automation (TestOps) Solutions and Services in the US and Latin America

zivra devsecops test ops test automation

Zivra & Eggplant

Eggplant provides a future-proof platform that combines testing, monitoring, and the measurement of digital success. It applies artificial intelligence and machine learning to assist in the delivery of DevSecOps at scale.” said, Arthur Alvarez, Director of Sales and Alliances at Zivra.

Zivra, a leading DevSecOps global strategic consulting and solutions integration company today announced a strategic partnership with Eggplant, the intelligent automation specialist, to resell and provide services around Eggplant’s intelligent testing and monitoring automation products as part of Zivra’s DevSecOps portfolio of offerings.

Headquartered in Chicago, Zivra provides premier consulting services and solutions that enable Enterprises to accelerate their digital transformation through a proprietary DevSecOps Framework that focuses on automation and modernization, security, and Cloud transformation. A partnership with Eggplant enables Zivra to further expand its portfolio of best-of-breed DevSecOps solutions to help companies as they evolve their automation initiatives to include test automation, a key component of what Zivra defines as TestOps. TestOps is a term derived from two technology functions: Testing and Operations, similar to how DevOps was coined from Development and Operations, which refers to a more evolved version of traditional and manual testing.

The move comes as a response to the growing demand from organizations of all sizes and across many different market segments seeking to move from predominantly manual to automated quality assurance as part of their overall digital transformation strategy. With faster release cycles and increased delivery speed, manual testing or partial automation to test functionality is no longer sufficient. A future-proof test automation strategy needs to be an integral part of any DevSecOps transformation and Eggplant provides an innovative intelligent automation platform to support such a strategy.

“Many of our clients have begun their DevSecOps transformation journey and have implemented some level of CI/CD automation. They are looking at other areas to automate, and manual testing is naturally another automation challenge to tackle. “Eggplant’s solutions fit very well within our DevSecOps Enterprise Framework and address our clients’ needs.”

“Zivra is a recognized leader in supporting and helping organizations deliver on the promise of DevSecOps,” said Michael Eckhoff, Vice President, Sales, Eggplant. “Intelligent test automation is critical if organizations are to accelerate the pace of digital transformation. Our AI-driven platform automates the testing lifecycle so that every organization can benefit from continuous intelligent testing.”
