“It is always better to prevent, than struggle to face the consequences. With so many devices and systems available, now is easier to prevent car theft” said Russell Rabichev, Marketing Director of Internet Marketing Company.

Losses estimated at $6 billion. Car owners will be reimbursed if their car got stolen, only if they purchased comprehensive insurance. To prevent the theft of their vehicle, drivers should follow the next tips:

  • Stop the engine of their vehicle. If they have to leave their car unattended, drivers should stop the engine. Even if it’s for a short time. Thieves need only a few moments to steal a car with its engine running.
  • Install anti-theft devices. Devices like fuel cut-off systems, ignition kill switches, or steering wheel locks can deter car thieves. Also, many car insurance companies offer discounts for installing anti-theft devices.
  • Park the vehicle in a safe place. It is important to always park the vehicle in a place that is circulated and offers lots of visibility. Parking places that have video surveillance are recommended.
  • Remove the valuables inside their vehicles. Laptops, phones, jewelry, bags, and others can be tempting for many thieves, so drivers are recommended to remove them from plain sight.
  • Invest in a GPS tracking system. GPS tracking systems are very helpful for authorities when it comes to recovering stolen vehicles. Having a tracking device or system will be really helpful, should the car be stolen. A state of the art system will help the authorities pinpoint the location of the stolen car.

LSP Technologies Celebrates 25 Years of Making Your World a Safer Place

Dr. Jeff Dulaney, President and CEO, LSP Technologies, Inc.

Dr. Jeff Dulaney, President and CEO, LSP Technologies, Inc.

“LSP Technologies has doubled in size to over 60 employees and tripled in sales over the past few years, due in large part to the growth of our talented engineering team and our focus on building the Humble, Hungry, and Smart culture.” Dr. Jeff Dulaney, President and CEO

Today marks the 25th Anniversary for LSP Technologies, Inc., a Dublin-based company that pioneered the commercialization of a technology using high energy lasers designed to make the world a safer place.

LSP Technologies is a story of American ingenuity with a most unusual beginning. The founder of LSP Technologies, Dr. Jeff Dulaney, originally set out to become a carpenter. “My road to becoming a physicist started when I couldn’t get into the apprenticeship program for carpentry,” stated Dr. Dulaney. It was that setback out of high school that led him to attend Sinclair Community College on scholarship.

Sinclair professors encouraged him to continue his education, so he entered the undergraduate physics program at Miami University. “I am grateful to my professors at Sinclair and Miami. They encouraged me to achieve more than I could have imagined at that point in my life by going on to obtain my Ph.D. in physics from the University of Pittsburgh,” he noted.

After graduation, Dr. Dulaney joined Battelle Memorial Institute in Columbus, Ohio, and became Technical Unit Leader of Battelle’s high energy laser group. Dr. Dulaney felt compelled to start LSP Technologies Inc. in 1995 in order to get a fledgling technology called laser shock peening out of the lab and into the real world. Laser shock peening is used to make metal parts much stronger by inhibiting the initiation of cracks and corrosion.

To support the startup company, Dr. Dulaney assembled a small group of scientists, engineers, technicians, and experts in materials and metals. Together, they tackled their first big technical problem, to help the Air Force make the B-1 bomber flight-ready by preventing engine failures caused by foreign object damage on the 1st stage jet engine fan blades.

Laser peening the fan blades for the B-1 bomber was the first production application of laser peening, the first of many successes in the company’s mission of “Making Your World a Safer Place.” Not only did laser peening make the B-1 aircraft safer, it also reduced maintenance costs on the jet engines by more than $10 million per year.

LSP Technologies is now responsible for more than 70 laser peening patents. Through cross-licensing agreements, the company’s patent portfolio exceeds 130 laser peening patents. As the LSP Technologies team advanced the technology and made it more cost-effective, applications for laser peening expanded into commercial aviation, power generation, maritime, automotive, and other market sectors.

“LSP Technologies has doubled in size to over 60 employees and tripled in sales over the past few years, due in large part to the growth of our talented engineering team and our focus on building the Humble, Hungry, and Smart culture that was the key to unlocking that growth,” said Dr. Dulaney.

“We also pivoted our business model from laser peening services in our facilities to selling laser peening equipment. That allows our customers to laser peen their own parts in their own factories. We were able to leverage funds from Ohio’s Third Frontier Program to design and develop a robust, production-ready laser peening system: the Procudo® Laser Peening System,” he said.

The Procudo® System was the first-ever laser peening system available for commercial sale or lease. LSP Technologies has now sold Procudo® Systems to customers on three continents. “We are very proud to be proliferating laser peening technology around the world,” Dr. Dulaney said.

The rapid growth of our Company in recent years has earned LSP Technologies a place on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing privately held companies in the United States and the Fast 50 list of Business First, a ranking of Central Ohio’s fastest growing small businesses.

Dr. Dulaney is extremely optimistic about the future of LSP Technologies. The company is currently working to solve big problems on commercial aircraft, U.S. military aircraft and combat vessels, and even inside commercial nuclear reactors.

“It is hard to believe how far we have come in 25 years. I am honored and grateful to be working with such talented people to solve significant, real-world problems that benefit our country and our world from right here in central Ohio,” he said. “We thrive on the challenge of developing another first!”

Why Drivers Should Purchase Uninsured And Underinsured Coverage

News Image

It is important to have coverage suited for any situation. UM/UIM coverage will help you get sufficient money”, said Russell Rabichev, Marketing Director of Internet Marketing Company.

Mandatory in many states, uninsured motorist insurance will cover drivers that are hit by other drivers that don’t carry any type of insurance. Closely related to uninsured motorist insurance, underinsured motorist insurance will cover drivers that are hit by other drivers that carry insurance, but is not enough to pay for all the damage they caused.

Uninsured motorist coverage, or UM for short, will come into effect following these situations:

  • The policyholder has sustained injuries from an uninsured driver. In this case, the bodily injury coverage part of UM insurance comes into effect This coverage will take care of the policyholder medical bills if he got hit by an uninsured driver, or by a hit and run driver.
  • The car owner has sustained financial losses caused by an uninsured driver. If the policyholder has sustained financial losses, like a damaged car, caused by an at-fault uninsured driver, he will be reimbursed by the insurance companies. In some cases, this coverage will pay for the lost wages of the policyholder.

Underinsured motorist coverage, or UMI for short, will kick in these situations:

  • The car driver is injured by an underinsured driver. The underinsured coverage will come into effect after the underinsured driver’s insurance is exhausted. The medical bills of the policyholder are paid until a limit is reached. If that limit is reached, the policyholder should consider suing the at-fault driver.
  • The policyholder has suffered financial losses caused an underinsured driver. Underinsured motorist coverage will pay the costs to repair or replace the car of a policyholder that got hit by a driver that carries little insurance. UMI insurance will kick in only after the at-fault driver insurance got exhausted. Besides that, UMI coverage will pay for the lost capacity to work or lost wages.

Achieving Frictionless Sales Enablement

Speaker: David Bauders, CEO, SPARXiQ

While technology has improved the sales enablement function, it has also created road bumps that can impede your ability to ramp up sales reps quickly and effectively. It is time to rethink sales training and sales enablement. In this session, SPARXiQ CEO David Bauders will discuss those challenges as well as a strategic approach for targeted sales force optimization.

Corporate Strategy and Cold Call Scripts: Strange Bedfellows or Essential Partners?

Speaker: Chris Beall, CEO, ConnectAndSell

With the rising power of private equity, executing corporate strategy has become more challenging. For many B2B companies, the obvious best path forward is tightly focused organic growth – growth designed to enter and dominate markets, not merely grow market share. It turns out that the trust-centric nature of buying B2B solutions brings a new strategic player onto the scene. This session lays out the surprising consequences of this strange coupling, along with a step-by-step approach to using it to your advantage.

Accelerating Sales Growth in 2020 by Building a Peak Performance Sales Team

Speaker: Jamie Crosbie, Founder and CEO, ProActivate

Do you know what the missing piece is to accelerate sales growth and sustain peak sales performance among your sales team? Most sales leaders spend the majority of their team development time focused on teaching or improving sales skills – but only 20 percent of sales success is based sales skill set, while 80 percent of sales success is based on mindset. If only 20 percent of the success quotient is based on skill set, why are we solely focused in that area? We must learn what we can do as sales leaders to build a peak performance mindset sales organization so we can achieve maximum sales results.

After attending this session sales leaders will be equipped to

  • Change the trajectory of their sales team’s success by at least 38 percent
  • Maximize every sales team member to their full potential
  • Teach their team to engage in a growth mindset that propels sales results
  • Learn the key qualities to evaluate so you hire team members with a peak performance mindset
  • Elevate performance and grow revenue

The agenda for the Sales 3.0 Conference also addresses sales process, sales leadership, the customer experience, sales performance, sales productivity, accelerating revenue, sales culture, sales technology, and sales enablement.

Alice Heiman, founder of Alice Heiman, LLC, will act as emcee and chief networking officer.

Standard registration rates are in effect and end February 20. Register for the Sales 3.0 Conference at

https://sales30conference.swoogo.com/orlando2020.

How To Select A Safe Car And Pay Cheaper Insurance Rates

News Image

“It is important for drivers to pick a safe car for driving. Not only a safe car will protect the lives of its occupants, but it will also help lower the insurance premiums,” said Russell Rabichev, Marketing Director of Internet Marketing Company.

When shopping for a new vehicle, one of the main concerns a policyholder can have is how safe is the car he is going to purchase? Choosing a safe car is important for drivers that want to keep their loved ones as safe as possible while they are on the road. Besides that, safe cars can help drivers pay less on their insurance policies.

The following tips can help drivers pick a safe car:

  •     Check the crash test scores. Vehicles with good scores will better protect their occupants from injuries or even death. Policyholders should look for “Good” front moderate overlap, small overlap, side-impact, and roof scores from the IIHS. IIHS tests evaluate two aspects of safety: crashworthiness – how well a vehicle protects its occupants in case of a crash, and crash avoidance and mitigation features – technology that can prevent a collision or lessen its severity.
  •     Look for vehicles with side airbags. While frontal crashes are the most frequent type of collisions, side impacts are the second most common but are by far more likely to be fatal. Policyholders should buy cars that come with side head airbags besides every occupant seat and at a minimum, torso airbags besides the front passengers.
  •     Analyze the car size and weight. Larger and heavier vehicles are safer than smaller ones. However, some big cars are prone to rollovers or other issues. Mid-sized sedans with high safety ratings are considered ideal choices.
  •     Crash avoidance technologies. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), 94 percent of fatal crashes occur because a human being made an error or a poor choice. Crash avoidance technologies can sense what’s going around a vehicle and will either act in the place of the drivers or alert them. Ever improving technologies like advanced braking and warning systems can minimize injuries and damage from collisions.

How To Compare 2 Or More Online Car Insurance Quotes

News Image

“Comparing online quotes is important for drivers that want to save money on their car insurance,” said Russell Rabichev, Marketing Director of Internet Marketing Company.

Before renewing or buying a new insurance plan it’s important to get price estimates. The easiest way to compare insurance rates is by using online quotes. When comparing quotes for the same policy, drivers should consider the following:

  •     Make sure they provide the same data and choose the same options. To properly compare insurance quotes, drivers should use the same info on all compared quotes. That means they should ask for the same policies, same services and extra services, same coverage limits and deductibles.
  •     Policyholders should use correct and accurate data. When filing the questionnaires, policyholders should make sure that info they put in all forms is correct. Providing wrong data can make some estimates to be too low or too high.
  •     Provide accurate estimates. In almost all forms, drivers will be required to provide an annual mileage estimate. Depending on the provided mileage, insurance companies can offer better insurance rates estimates for those drivers that use their vehicle less than the average, or they can offer expensive insurance rates estimates to drivers that use their cars often.
  •     Use reliable sources. Policyholders should use companies that are trusted when comparing online quotes.
