National Nurse Practitioner Week (NNP Week), an annual recognition of Nurse Practitioners November 8 to 14, 2020, honors the critical role of NPs who champion the health of America’s patients. The theme for this year’s celebration of NNP Week is “NPs Moving Forward: Today. Tomorrow. Together.” The 2020 commemoration occurs as the nursing community celebrates the International Year of the Nurse and the Midwife, coinciding with the 200th anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth.
