Today, Caravan Health launches a new podcast called “Health Care by the Numbers” that uncovers what’s driving health care transformation. Caravan leaders will interview some of the brightest minds inspiring health care innovation and discuss the data that helped them transform health care. The podcast will be offered on HealthcareNOW Radio with the first episode available Tuesday, January 19.

Caravan has long been a thought leader on health care and payment issues. The roles of accountable care organizations (ACOs) and value-based payment are more important than ever. We begin 2021 facing down a raging pandemic with medical costs continuing to rise and our Medicare population is larger than ever. The new podcast will explore these issues in-depth with industry thought leaders.

The first episode features Caravan Health Founder and Executive Chair, Lynn Barr, as she tells the story of how she determined the key to successful accountable care in rural America and brought it to scale. The podcast is hosted by Todd Searls, Caravan’s Vice President for Business Development, a health industry entrepreneur and leader in strategic management of health organizations. Future episodes will delve into organization leadership, innovative technology, and the latest in health policy. Planned podcast guests include Damika Barr, Verily Head of Public Policy and Government Relations, and Quint Studer, Founder of the Studer Group.
