Bel Mondo Beauty Announces Support for Non-Profit Organization That Provides Complementary Aesthetic Services For Cancer Patients

Bel Mondo Beauty, a leading provider of professional sheet masks used during aesthetic services, announced today it has agreed to support the mission of Looking & Feeling FAB (LFF), a Massachusetts-based non-profit organization that provides skin care treatments, massages, and skin care education at no charge to cancer patients.

Bel Mondo will donate three hundred of its “oncology-approved” Moisture Renewal Masks annually to LFF.

LFF was founded in 2013 by Holly Brown, an oncology-trained aesthetician determined to improve the level of care available to cancer patients coping with adverse side effects to skin – extreme dryness, blistering, burns, and redness – that typically result from therapies like chemotherapy and radiation.

Brown estimates that since LFF’s inception, her team of aesthetic practitioners has brought comfort and relief to approximately 850 clients in the greater Boston area.

“Our goal is to improve the quality of life for cancer patients, to let them experience the healing power of touch and to help them regain confidence in their appearance,” stated Brown. “Through our Wellness Program, we provide clients with five free treatments as well as complementary skin care products for home use. Bel Mondo’s sheet mask is a safe, effective moisturizing treatment that our clients are really going to enjoy and benefit from.”

First Sheet Mask Approved For Oncology Spa Services

Bel Mondo developed its Moisture Renewal Mask in collaboration with Oncology Spa Solutions (OSS) – an educational organization that has trained more than 5,000 skin care professionals in the emerging specialty of oncology aesthetics. The mask has been available since September 2019 and features an occlusive bio cellulose fabric — prized in skin care for its ability to quickly soothe and hydrate skin.

OSS has designated Bel Mondo’s Moisture Renewal Mask as OSS Oncology Approved, signifying that the product’s ingredient approach adheres to the organization’s safety standards for oncology skin care. Additionally, OSS has incorporated the Moisture Renewal Mask into its training curriculum, adding the treatment to its signature Angel Kiss Facial protocol.

“When we developed the Moisture Renewal Mask two years ago, part of our intention was to support the important work being done by organizations like Looking & Feeling FAB,” noted Bel Mondo President Lou Martelli. “It is a privilege to play a small part in helping their mission.”
