Bank of America has granted $30k to the General Richard B. Myers Veterans Program at Medisend College of Biomedical Engineering Technology. Veterans come from across the nation to attend the highly acclaimed program that has a proven record of helping to place graduates in well-paying jobs with healthcare organizations such as Siemens Healthineers, Henry Schein Dental, and GE.

“As one of the many organizations that Bank of America supports to benefit our US veterans, we are proud and grateful to be selected as recipients of their generosity. This funding will help enable Medisend College to expand the veterans program to serve even more young men and women endeavoring to successfully enter the civilian workplace,” says General Richard B. Myers, 15th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, current President of Kansas State University and Chairman of Medisend College Board of Trustees.

Through the intensive curriculum and state of the art laboratory experience, The General Richard B. Myers Veterans Program at Medisend College qualifies veterans to maximize the skills gained in service to their country. The program enables veterans to transition into civilian life with well-paying jobs in the rapidly growing healthcare industry. General Myers states it best, “Our mission is not complete until we have given our veterans and their families the opportunity for a secure future.”
