Topping the list of most searched for vendors by KLAS is another indication that providers are ready for a change. And we are ready and excited to bring our capabilities to these markets.

Atlanta-based Azalea Health, a leading provider of cloud-based health IT, electronic health record (EHR) and patient engagement solutions, announced today that the company tops the list of “Most-Searched Emerging Vendors” in the recent KLAS Research Emerging HCIT Vendors report. The report shows the most searched new, unmeasured vendors on the KLAS site. Inclusion in the report demonstrates the high level of provider interest in Azalea products. Searches for Azalea were 42 percent higher than the next vendor and represented 12 percent of the total searches analyzed.

“The level of provider engagement that we see through KLAS is representative of the overall market,” said Baha Zeidan, Chief Executive Officer of Azalea. “Providers are looking for alternatives to the old guard. Azalea delivers a simplified, fully cloud-based EHR solution for hospitals and clinics that lowers resource demands, lowers dependence on vendor resources, and unlocks clinical data value through an open API and proprietary health information exchange.”

While Azalea is a name familiar to many in the rural provider market, the company is successfully expanding to larger urban and suburban facilities. Building on lessons learned in service to underserved and isolated providers, Azalea developed an EHR solution that: lowers IT and bandwidth requirements; and is highly configurable, thereby reducing coding and costly change orders; and operationalizes the “one patient, one chart” approach to ensure data access across a provider network.

“We continue to see demand for a simplified, modern alternative to the existing EHRs in the market,” said Jeff Meaux, Senior Vice President of Sales for Azalea. “Topping the list of most searched for vendors by KLAS is another indication that providers are ready for a change. And we are ready and excited to bring our capabilities to these markets.”

Azalea recently announced the EHR “go-live” at four hospitals during COVID-19. These providers are leveraging Azalea’s data transparency and interoperability to support their patient populations through the pandemic. In addition, Azalea has been at the forefront of telehealth. The company has made patient engagement tools available to help providers ensure care continuity during social distancing mandates and concerns over exposure and risk related to the COVID-19 virus.
