Avalanche Technology, the leader in next generation MRAM technology, announced today that it has expanded its Sales Organization with the addition of Milissa McCarthy as Vice President of Worldwide Sales. In this role, McCarthy will be responsible for managing the Avalanche Sales team and growing the business globally.

A 25-year sales veteran of the semiconductor and storage industries with a history of providing solutions for the industrial, automotive, medical and aerospace markets, McCarthy has a proven record of developing customer relationships and growing business together. She also has deep expertise in helping customers solve their persistent data storage challenges using non-volatile memory. McCarthy will report to Petro Estakhri, CEO of Avalanche.

Throughout her career, McCarthy has held various sales and sales management roles with some of the semiconductor industry’s most recognized companies, including SanDisk (now Western Digital), Arrow Electronics, Altera (now Intel) and ATI (now AMD).

Most recently, McCarthy was a Sales Director for Everspin Technologies, Chandler, AZ. In this role, she managed sales representatives in the East and West regions for North America, as well as worldwide distributors, to evangelize MRAM technology in the customer base and drive revenue in the regions.

McCarthy has a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA and a B.A. in Mathematics from Wheaton College, Norton, MA.
