Help My Unbelief” is a wholesome book that allows the readers to understand the universe as a place where everyone lives

News Image

“I Believe: Help My Unbelief”: a compelling account that inspires the readers to be confident to describe their personal struggles and reaffirming faith. “I Believe: Help My Unbelief” is the creation of published author Larry O. Sullivan, a senior minister desiring to serve people through preaching, teaching, and counseling. He realized many Christians have a distorted view of what it means to live as God intended.

Sullivan writes, “In Mark 9, a father whose son was tormented by a demon came to Jesus for healing. The words of the father sound familiarly inconsistent, “I believe; help my unbelief.” We must admire his transparency, which resonates with us. He wanted more than anything for his son to be healed. Only this itinerant teacher could heal him from the threat of injury and possibly death. When he went to the disciples first and they couldn’t heal his boy, then his faith was shaken. The inconsistency in his words describes a common reality we share as human beings. Believing and having unbelief at the same time sounds like a contradiction.

“The objective is to know all people have beliefs and doubts. It is obvious at home, in school, at work—everywhere. Sometimes Christians need to hear one can believe and be given permission to have doubts in matters of faith. Long-established interpretations and organizational structures may be necessary but are not to displace the reality of God’s love, grace, and truth, shown in the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ.

“I Believe; Help My Unbelief is an attempt to give the reader permission to find positive joy and love for God and demonstrated in our love for each other. It is not necessary to be examples to the world as keepers of truth but rather embracing the love for all people just as God has loved us. This is one thing all Christians can agree upon—to love all people as God has loved us.”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Sullivan’s new book is a riveting memoir enabling the readers to grow not as people who think everyone is required to have all the answers for life but rather in one’s vulnerability.

With this purpose, the author urges the readers to have a positive outlook on life and love for God.

Registration Opens for SPIE Photonics West 2020, the Largest Annual International Optics and Photonics Conference

SPIE Photonics West 2019: Exhibitor-floor opening

SPIE Photonics West 2019: Exhibitor-floor opening

Each year, SPIE Photonics West showcases the latest in applications, technologies, and discoveries in optics and photonics.

In February 2020, SPIE Photonics West, the largest annual international conference in optics and photonics, will host researchers, innovators, and business leaders from across the globe at San Francisco’s Moscone Center.

From February 1-6, SPIE Photonics West 2020 will welcome an estimated 23,000 registered attendees, 1,350 exhibitors, and more than 5,000 technical presentations. In addition, 2020 marks the inaugural SPIE AR/VR/MR conference as well as the industry-focused SPIE Venture Summit, part of an expanded entrepreneur program.

Each year, SPIE Photonics West showcases the latest in applications, technologies, and discoveries in optics and photonics, with three major conference tracks: BiOS, highlighting new research in biophotonics, biomedical optics, and applications of medical imaging; LASE, with its focus on the laser industry and applications; and OPTO, showcasing optoelectronics, photonic materials, and related devices.

From the SPIE BiOS Hot Topics speakers during Photonics West’s opening weekend, to the SPIE Prism Awards and 10th annual SPIE Startup Challenge later in the week, Photonics West will showcase innovative technologies and industry developments across the optics spectrum. Nobel Laureate Eric Betzig will give a plenary; additional plenaries will cover next-generation data centers, quantum computing, as well as other trending applications of photonics.

The brand-new, three-day SPIE AR/VR/MR conference incorporates an academic track, including the Student Optical Design Challenge; a two-day Expo + Demos event at which attendees will experience the entire ecosystem of cross-reality (XR) hardware; a selection of courses covering XR technologies and industry expectations; two days of more than 40 industry leaders sharing trends and insights; and end-of-day networking receptions. All attendees with full conference registration for Photonics West have access to the SPIE AR/VR/MR conference.

Featuring hundreds of product launches, live demonstrations, and technologies on display, the BiOS Expo and Photonics West Exhibition are both free and open to the public: the 200-exhibitor-strong BiOS Expo – featuring the latest technology in biomedical optics and healthcare applications – is open 1-2 February; the Photonics West Exhibition, 4-6 February, showcases the latest in optics and photonics innovations from more than 30 countries.

“With last year’s Photonics West we had a banner year, with more than 23,000 registered attendees, 1,350 exhibitors, and 5,200 papers; this year already looks to match or even exceed these numbers,” notes SPIE Senior Director of Technical Programs and Proceedings Marilyn Gorsuch, who is also the event manager for Photonics West. “Each year, Photonics West, as the first global photonics event of the year, sets the tone for academic, industry, and government communities. With a Nobel laureate giving a plenary talk, our BiOS Hot Topics speakers covering a comprehensive range of exciting topics on the latest biomedical innovations, our new, AR/VR/MR co-located conference making its debut, and with the most ambitious and value-driven industry-focused program to date, Photonics West 2020 promises to be the most engaging, thought-provoking, must-attend gathering in our field.”

In addition to the conferences and exhibitions, Photonics West also hosts the SPIE Career Summit, with its various professional-development sessions and multiple networking opportunities; 65 courses covering such topics as Medical Laser-Tissue Interactions and Optical Measurements for Automotive Displays & Lighting; and a comprehensive job fair, 4-5 February.

50 Years Young – Zimmer MedizinSysteme Celebrates 50 Years in Business and Builds Toward the Next 50

Zimmer Celebrates 50 Years Young - Providing outstanding customer service has been a priority for us since Zimmer's early days in Germany! Here is a picture of the first official 'Zimmer Customer Service Bus'. When you saw the "Z" on the front of this VW

Zimmer Celebrates 50 Years Young – Early days, the first official ‘Zimmer Customer Service Bus’.

The company’s 50-year journey to today’s success parallels the entrepreneurial endeavors of three generations of the Zimmer family.

Zimmer USA announced that 2019 marks the 50th year in business for its German parent company, Zimmer MedizinSysteme.

The 50th anniversary celebration has been ongoing throughout this year, with parties at both the German and American headquarters. Zimmer USA published an article, looking back at the story and pictures of its evolution since 1969. Zimmer MedizinSysteme started as a manufacturer of physiotherapy devices, growing into its position today as a global leader of device manufacturing for the physiotherapy and aesthetic medicine fields.

Zimmer MedizineSysteme is a family company that began humbly, in Ulm, Germany. Later, in 1986, Zimmer MedizinSystems, an American company, was established as its US distribution arm. (The German parent company is Zimmer MedizinSysteme, while the American subsidiary is Zimmer MedizinSystems, with an “s” at the end.) Today, Zimmer USA has offices in Irvine, CA and Allentown, PA. Zimmer MedizinSysteme has expanded throughout the rest of the world, focusing on creating quality products for Aesthetics, Physiotherapy, Sports Medicine and Podiatry, with innovative Cardiology and diagnostic products complementing its range of offerings.

Around the globe, the Zimmer name is associated with its flagship Cryo devices. The company has set the gold standard for Cryotherapy and skin cooling systems, having sold over 45,000 of these all-natural cryotherapy delivery systems. The product has also significantly contributed to safer laser treatments while improving patient comfort.

Zimmer MedizinSysteme also takes its place on the world stage for its recent collaboration announcement. Zimmer has developed the new CoolTone device for Allergan plc – the leading global pharmaceutical company and manufacturer of the original Botox®. CoolTone is a non-invasive, magnetic field device for body contouring and fat reduction.

Another testament to its continued growth, Zimmer’s progressive Z Wave Q Radial Pulse Technology device has just made its debut on the medical aesthetics market. Like the rest of the Z Wave family of non-invasive devices, the Z Wave Q is FDA cleared for the temporary reduction of the appearance of cellulite, the temporary increase in local blood circulation and to relieve minor muscle aches and pains. Z Wave Q may also be used as an adjunct in Cryolipolysis™ (CoolSculpting™) and other body contouring treatments for enhanced results. A new water-cooled generator enables the device to operate with a 50% softer sound than its predecessor, the acclaimed Z Wave Pro, while providing equally effective results. In fact, Zimmer touts the Z Wave Q as the “quietest shockwave device on the market”.

The company’s 50-year journey to today’s success parallels the entrepreneurial endeavors of three generations of the Zimmer family. In the early 1930’s, the seeds for the business were planted by Erich Zimmer, the grandfather of Zimmer’s current co-CEOs. In 1969, the modern incarnation of Zimmer MedizinSysteme was founded by Erich’s sons, Bernd and Peter Zimmer. In 2013, Bernd’s sons, Armin and Michael Zimmer, took the positions of co-CEOs. Additional family members are employed within the company, continuing with the business’s family-run tradition.

Today, Zimmer MedizinSysteme operates worldwide with hundreds of employees and provides a source of income for thousands. The company is a world market leader in cutting-edge medical devices and looks toward another 50 years of growth.

About Zimmer MedizinSystems

Zimmer MedizinSystems in Irvine, California, with its parent company based in Neu-Ulm, Germany, has 50 years of expertise in manufacturing high quality medical devices. Originating as a manufacturer of physiotherapy devices, Zimmer rapidly evolved as a global leader in the aesthetic industry. The company is represented in over 110 countries worldwide by local distributors who provide exemplary service.

Zimmer’s Aesthetic Division manufactures award-winning devices for the treatment of cellulite and enhancing body contouring, as well as skin cooling during laser and other dermatological treatments. Zimmer’s Z Wave and Z Cryo, devices utilize advanced Radial Pulse Therapy and Cryotherapy technologies. With over 45,000 Cryo units sold, the company has set the gold standard for Cryotherapy and skin cooling systems and has significantly contributed to safer laser treatments while improving patient comfort.

A Journey From Despair to Hope” is a moving tale of hope and faith in the face of life’s greatest trials

News Image

“You Are Worthy: A Journey From Despair to Hope”: a poignant and powerful tale of faith, hope, and one woman’s remarkable God-given resilience in the face of chaos and tragedy. “You Are Worthy: A Journey From Despair to Hope” is the creation of published author, Linda Thompson, a leader in her local Celebrate Recovery Group.

Thompson states: “The pages of this book could not contain the blessings God has given in the course of writing it. So often, I am just not aware.”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Linda Thompson’s new book is the account of how one woman found healing from the chaos of her past and how God turned a potentially devastating slew of life’s most trying experiences into a message of hope, love, and worthiness. Any storm, Thompson’s story reveals, might be weathered by simply trusting in God’s plan and embracing His will.

HarbisonWalker International Introduces MULE-R – a lift-assist robot uniquely designed for the refractory industry

https://www.prweb.com/

HWI recently conducted customer training with the MULE-R.

As proven in the construction industry, the MULE-R greatly extends a worker’s ergonomic range, reducing the likelihood of strain and injuries, while allowing for greater productivity, efficiency, and an improved work environment.

HarbisonWalker International (HWI), the largest supplier of refractory products and services in North America, has introduced the new MULE-R (Material Unit Lift Enhancer – Refractory). The MULE-R is a first of its kind, lift assist technology designed expressly for the refractory industry that provides workers with numerous safety, ergonomic, and productivity benefits while placing refractory materials in manufacturing environments.

The device has been created in partnership with Construction Robotics, developers of the original MULE, which is used for concrete block placement in the construction industry. The MULE-R has been adapted with a vacuum gripper specifically designed for handing refractory bricks in tight working spaces. It is available through HWI and its partner D. Martin Enterprises, a distributor of HWI products for the steel industry.

“Anyone who’s ever lined a steel ladle knows it can be physically demanding. The safety and workforce benefits of this technology for our installers and customers are tremendous,” said Don Abrino, Senior Director of Outside Technology and Open Innovation.

“As proven in the construction industry, the MULE-R greatly extends a worker’s ergonomic range, reducing the likelihood of strain and injuries, while allowing for greater productivity, efficiency, and an improved work environment.” added Abrino.

Unlike some other lift assist devices that have been available for manufacturers, the MULE-R is inherently fit for heavy construction, so it works exceptionally well in refractory installation environments. The free-standing device is simple and intuitive for users to operate.

Adaptation for refractory industry use of the Construction Robotics’ original MULE technology evolved out of HWI’s Open Innovation program at the company’s Advanced Technology Research Center (ATRC). As part of its continued commitment to advance industry technologies, HWI created the Open Innovation program in 2017 to apply technologies and best practices from across all industries for refractory innovations.

“We’ve designed the MULE to work alongside humans, rather than replacing them. Our innovations are borne out of finding ways for workers to benefit from a machine taking the physical strain out of the work, or increasing production speed,” said Scott Peters, president and co-founder, Construction Robotics.

“We’re excited to innovate with HWI to deliver refractory solutions. With so many similar challenges in materials handling, serving the refractory industry is a natural extension of our mission to develop affordable, leading-edge robotics and automation equipment,” added Peters.

Currently, the MULE-R supports the installation of steel industry refractory bricks for argon oxygen decarburization (AOD), electric arc furnace (EAF) processes, or ladle installation end-users. The product is now readily available for steel industry customers, and HWI is working to adapt the technology for customers in other industries and applications.

MULE-R product orders include a comprehensive inspection, maintenance, and training service package. For more information, contact Mark Zikesch, applications specialist with HWI’s Value Added Service team at 219-299-4575, or Jason Crawford at D. Martin Enterprises at 219-872-8211.

ERISAPros Joins Vertafore’s Orange Partner Program Collaboration to Streamline Data Integration and Reduce Compliance Risk for Brokers

We envision our Agency Partners improving their efficiency in regulatory-related account management practices with the BenefitPoint integration inside “Wrap-Tight(sm),” said Michelle Lewis, BenefitPoint Product Manager.

ErisaPros, LLC announces its membership in Vertafore’s Orange Partner Program, which will allow ERISAPros to retrieve client data from Vertafore’s benefits management system, BenefitPoint®, and utilize it to prepare Wrap Plan Documents using its proprietary document builder, Wrap-Tight(sm). Vertafore is the leader in integrated software for independent agents, MGAs, carriers, and states and regulators.

The Orange Partner Program provides open access and integration opportunities with Vertafore application programming interfaces (APIs) for customers and partners. The program also extends to third-party technology providers, such as ERISAPros, which is joining the program to streamline solutions for agencies and brokers.

The ability to transfer client data directly from BenefitPoint® to Wrap-Tight(sm) will alleviate multiple data entry efforts, saving time, and improving accuracy. Using the same preparer for the Wrap Plan as for the Form 5500 reduces risk for the agency and broker that may arise when the description of benefits, plan name, plan number, and/or the plan sponsor reflected on the Form 5500 is inconsistent with the information provided in the Wrap Plan Document and SPD.

“We envision our Agency Partners improving their efficiency in regulatory-related account management practices with the BenefitPoint integration inside “Wrap-Tight(sm),” said Michelle Lewis, BenefitPoint Product Manager.

ERISAPros’ proprietary Wrap-Tight(sm) compliance and document system allows an employer to save time and money by integrating all of its benefit plans into one document rather than preparing a document for each separate plan. This approach permits an employer to file one Form 5500 and distribute a single SPD, Summary Annual Report (SAR), and Summary of Material Modifications (SMM). If amendments are required in response to benefit or regulatory changes, the employer only needs to make changes to one document, rather than for each separate component benefit plan.

About ERISAPros

ERISAPros is a premium provider of ERISA reporting and disclosure consulting and compliance services, such as Form 5500s, Wrap Plan Documents, SPDs, and Premium Only Plans (POPs) for welfare benefits including group life, medical, dental, and disability insurance plans. The integration of Wrap-Tightsm with Vertafore’s client management system, BenefitPoint®, reinforces ERISAPros’ dedication to being an industry-leading, cutting-edge provider in the ever-evolving and fast-paced U.S. health and welfare benefits industry. ERISAPros has preferred partnership agreements with six of the top ten U.S. benefit brokers.

About Vertafore
