Attorney Kevin O’Mahony, a 37-year member of the Georgia Bar, was recently named to the list of the state’s “Legal Elite” published by Georgia Trend Magazine. This is the 17th year of the magazine’s special edition which recognizes a very small percentage of attorneys practicing in the state. The Legal Elite designation has particular significance inside and outside of the legal community because it is based entirely on the voting of other Georgia attorneys.

O’Mahony’s clients include major healthcare systems, medical practices, physicians and specialists, and other professional organizations involved in high-stakes litigation and business transactions. He also frequently represents clients in proceedings in front of the Georgia Composite Medical Board.

O’Mahony used announcement of the award as an opportunity to talk about what it means to help clients work through issues that will have lasting impacts on their businesses and careers.

O’Mahony is no stranger to recognition for the results he routinely achieves on behalf of clients. In 2019, he was rated 10.0/10.0 by Avvo, an attorney rating organization that uses a mathematical formula to assess a lawyer’s skill and capabilities. He has also maintained an AV Rating from Martindale-Hubbell since 1997, an honor reserved for a small percentage of the practicing bar that has achieved “preeminent” status in the field.
