Amerisure Names Angela McBride Chief Operating Officer

Amerisure is pleased to announce Angela McBride has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO). McBride previously served as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and will continue reporting to Greg Crabb, Amerisure’s President and Chief Executive Officer, in this role.

“Angela is an experienced executive with proven success in driving execution and achieving results,” said Crabb. “She is a key strategic leader with broad influence across Amerisure and is uniquely qualified to drive prioritization and accountability, with a laser-focus on operational excellence. We’re excited to have her as COO.”

In her new role role, McBride will continue serving on Amerisure’s strategic leadership team, and will have responsibility for building operational plans that deliver financial results. She will assume leadership responsibility for field-facing operations at Amerisure, including Corporate Underwriting, Field Marketing & Underwriting, Special Risk, Risk Management, Premium Audit, Product Management

and Customer Engagement.

McBride joined Amerisure in 2009 as Vice President of Internal Audit and subsequently assumed the role of Vice President of Human Resources. In her most recent role as Amerisure’s CAO, she had leadership responsibility for Corporate Services, Human Resources, Information Technology, Innovation, Internal Audit and the Business Process Portfolio Management Office. Prior to joining Amerisure, she held leadership roles as Head of Internal Audit and Vice President of Information Technology at Handleman Company.

McBride serves on the Executive Committee of the Michigan Chamber Board of Directors, as well as Crossroads of Michigan’s Advisory Board. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Michigan Technological University, Houghton, Mich.
