Aloisia Beauty™, the genuine and transparent K-Beauty skin care brand formulated with clean, safe, and effective ingredients from nature and science, has been designated as Leaping Bunny-certified. Meeting the cruelty-free standards set by the Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics (CCIC), the certification confirms that Aloisia Beauty does not test on animals at any stage of product development.

“Aloisia Beauty is a conscious and transparent brand, and creating products that are healthy and safe for people, without sacrificing the health and safety of animals or the planet, is at the core of our values,” said Veronica Konecke, Aloisia Beauty C-Founder. “Gaining Leaping Bunny certification empowers our customers to easily identify our cruelty-free commitment and have full trust in purchasing our products.”

The Leaping Bunny Program has been considered the gold standard for cruelty-free products including skin care since 1996. To earn this certification, Aloisia Beauty’s laboratory, products, processes, and policies were thoroughly audited to ensure Leaping Bunny criteria and its Corporate Standard of Compassion for Animals were satisfied. Aloisia Beauty products will now display the Leaping Bunny seal and is open to annual review.

Aloisia Beauty is a women and minority-owned brand founded by a diverse team with a shared passion for non-toxic, effective skin care and the K-Beauty ritual. The range offers signature products including GLOW Exfoliating Soft Peel, 7-Day Skin Care Ritual, DEEP Hydration Aloe Gel, and an assortment of sheet masks, with more products launching in 2021. The brand is based in San Diego, CA, and all products are developed and manufactured in partnership with their lab in South Korea, which maintains EMAS, ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems), ISO 14001 (Effective Environmental Management System), and ISO 22716:2007 (Good Manufacturing Practices for Cosmetics) certifications, and is regulated by the Ministry of Food & Drug Safety. Aloisia Beauty also stands behind South Korea’s ban on animal testing.

“We are pleased to be able to award our Leaping Bunny certification to Aloisia Beauty,” says Kim Paschen, Program Manager for Leaping Bunny. “Shoppers can be confident they are purchasing from a brand that not only delivers great K-Beauty products, but has taken further steps to formalize its commitment to being cruelty-free. And, going forward, Aloisia Beauty has agreed to recommit to the Leaping Bunny Program annually as well as have their supply chain audited to ensure no animal testing occurs.”
