Allied Pain & Spine Institute is pleased to announce that Dr. Parish Vaidya has been promoted to Chief Medical Officer. He joined the practice in 2015, bringing years of experience in interventional pain management, non-surgical orthopedics, electrodiagnostics and integrative medicine. Dr. Vaidya attended Pennsylvania State University and received his medical doctorate from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. He completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and his advanced subspecialty fellowship in pain medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. This was followed by a second fellowship in integrative medicine at the University of Arizona Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine. Adding to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Vaidya also continues to expand his administrative role at Allied Pain & Spine Institute.

Dr. Priyanka Ghosh joined Allied Pain & Spine Institute earlier this year. In addition to offering her expertise in interventional cancer pain, Dr. Ghosh is a specialist in interventional pain therapies for many complex orthopedic conditions and has focused training in treating head, neck and facial, pelvic and abdominal pain. She graduated from Brown University and earned her M.D with distinction at the University of California, San Francisco. While simultaneously attending medical school, Dr. Ghosh continued to pursue her passion for research with a National Institute of Health (NIH) funded fellowship. Dr. Ghosh completed her residency at Harvard Medical School in the Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC). She then obtained the prestigious Weill Cornell Tri-Institute Pain Fellowship, where she trained at three of the nation’s leading hospitals: Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Hospital for Special Surgery and New York Presbyterian Hospital.

Seasoned business and technology executive, Mike Patel, is the new Chief Operating Officer at Allied Pain & Spine Institute and Trinity Surgery Center. He will be sharing over 20 years of career experience in the advancement and improvement of healthcare delivery through the optimization of technology to drive sustainable healthcare innovation. Mr. Patel possesses a demonstrated track record of successfully leading change and process improvements in clinical, revenue cycle, strategy and compliance/regulations. Prior to Allied Pain & Spine Institute, Mr. Patel served as Chief Information Officer & VP of Business Services at Verity Medical Foundation, an MSO that managed multi-specialty medical groups and IPAs.
