“With all the innate work and home pressures of the holiday season, our team of experts is here to support other women.”

TONE Networks, the expert-driven, online microlearning platform for women, has queried their large roster of experts and put together top tips for thriving as busy, working professionals this holiday season.
“As an enterprise solution enabling companies to offer development to all levels of women in an organization, we empower working women to learn, grow and achieve their fullest potential,” said Tone Networks CEO Gemma Toner. “With all the innate work and home pressures of the holiday season, our team of experts is here to support other women.”
While the season can certainly be demanding, TONE’s experts believe it can be a special time with colleagues, clients, friends and family. In order to manage the stress that accompanies the end-of-year pressures, TONE Networks offers the following to advice to keep in mind in the weeks leading up to the holidays:
-
TONE’s own relationship realist, Dr. Ramani Durvasula, recommends remembering what the holidays are about and suggests giving back and volunteering, and reaching out to old friends you don’t often see. In the madness of trying to make sure every “I” is dotted and “T” crossed, it’s easy to lose sight of the spirit of goodwill the holidays let us cultivate. - With the holidays prompting a detour from bedtime routines, TONE’s sleep expert Nancy Rothstein has a few tips for staying awake during the holidays – and enjoying those waking hours! She suggests power naps in the afternoon so you are refreshed for any evening activities, not drinking holiday drinks too close to bedtime so you can sleep soundly, and taking a warm shower before bedtime to wind down and transition to sleep in peace.
- Diet Scientist Traci Fields practices yoga and meditation and encourages others to do so, especially during times of stress. This will help center the mind and body to stay focused in the bustle of the season.
- Transformational psychologist Dr. Debi Silber suggests taking a few minutes each day to reflect on the true meaning of the season and what is important. This helps to put things into perspective and makes some of the things on the worry list seem just a little more manageable. For some, it can also be a painful time of year so she also recommends using this time to create a new experience to bring a new meaning to the holidays. Doing something just for you that brings joy and fulfillment can be the beginning of a new way to celebrate and ring in the New Year.
And for those in search of the perfect holiday gift for the hardworking corporate woman, a full year subscription to TONE Networks – including interactive online coaching sessions, unlimited microlearning content and exclusive livestreaming events – can be gifted for $49.90.
