Today, Jazzercise, Inc. – the global dance fitness company – announced the launch of the brand’s first-ever Mobility Program. For more than 50 years, Jazzercise has continuously evolved its programming to meet the varying needs of members at their different ages, fitness levels and seasons of their lives. In addition to the Mobility Program, Jazzercise also launched its first-ever Pregnancy and Post-Baby Collection in late 2022. Both collections are available on the brand’s digital platform, Jazzercise On Demand.
“At Jazzercise, we aim to provide our members with a lifelong fitness routine that’s fun and effective, because enjoying your routine is crucial for maintaining it long-term,” said Jazzercise President and CEO Shanna Missett Nelson. “We understand that as our lives change, so must our fitness routines – which is why we developed the Mobility Program and Pregnancy & Post-Baby Collection. Our goal is to offer solutions that help people prioritize fitness and practice it in a way that best serves their bodies, no matter what stage of life they’re in.”
Jazzercise consistently evaluates industry trends and integrates the latest proven effective fitness methods into their offerings. The latest addition of the Mobility Program is on trend with an industry-wide focus on improving the mind-to-muscle connection and integrating functional fitness movements.
The Jazzercise On Demand Mobility Program features four sessions that combine targeted strength moves with functional stretching and movements and practices that are proven to enhance performance, stabilize joints, increase range of motion, improve posture and aid in injury prevention and pain management – all of which increase the longevity of your fitness routine and overall life. The program sessions include 10-Minute Hips and Back, 10-Minute Upper Body, 20-minute Full-Body and 30-Minute Full-Body – all set to music for the signature Jazzercise experience. These sessions can be treated as standalone workouts or act as a warmup to a regular routine.
While the Mobility Program aims to increase the longevity of your overall fitness routine, Jazzercise created the Pregnancy and Post-Baby Collection to help pregnant women and new moms utilize fitness to prepare for and recover from pregnancy, and maintain an existing exercise regimen during this time of life. Exercise during pregnancy is proven to lead to shorter, less complicated labor, decreased physical discomfort, and quicker postpartum recovery.
The Jazzercise Pregnancy and Post-Baby Collection features nine class sessions combining dance cardio and science-backed moves proven to assist with labor and recovery. Sessions include Core & Pelvic Floor, Strength & Stretch, and more, all featuring low-impact movements to ensure safety and stability. In addition to exercise sessions, the collection also includes easy, nutrient-dense snack recipes designed specifically for pregnant women and new moms.
In 2019, Jazzercise launched their digital platform, Jazzercise On Demand as a way to make fun fitness more accessible to all. Jazzercise On Demand houses both the Mobility Program and Pregnancy and Post-Baby Collection, in addition to hundreds of dance cardio workouts all integrating other effective fitness methods such as strength training, HIIT, and more.
The Mobility Program is available for $20 (one-time purchase for three-month access) and the Pregnancy and Post-Baby Collection for $24.99/month subscription or $49.99 (one-time purchase for six-month access).
