I want to share some tips I’ve learned over the decades that would have made my work easier, had I known them previously.

Rebecca Henderson holds an M.S. in community leadership from Duquesne University. Combined with more than four decades of volunteer leadership on more than three dozen boards of directors, ranging in scope from local to international, this gives her significant experience in nonprofit leadership. Henderson enjoys reading and researching. She currently writes a daily history column for the Johnson City Press. She also has a keen interest in membership based organizations, especially the Junior League and Girl Scouts.
