AuDConnex is Igniting Better Hearing through Mico-Grant

AuDConnex is stepping up to help provide hearing aids to those in need. The collaborative audiology network/buying group recently launched their Micro-Grant Program. The grant opportunity is being made available to hearing healthcare providers who are aligned with philanthropic work in their community and abroad.

“At AuDConnex we truly believe in providing support and access to help others. Giving the gift of hearing is so rewarding and we want to be able to pass that gift along to people who otherwise would not be able to afford it,” says Richard Johnson, Au.D., co-owner of AuDConnex.

The micro-grant allows hearing healthcare providers to apply for up to 20 free hearing aids per year to utilize through philanthropic work in their local market or as part of an international mission. Applicants must be an ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat doctor), audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist, describe the scope of the work or project they are aligning with and the mission’s goals. Each application will be reviewed and rated by the founders of AuDConnex.

“By offering these grants we hope that we will further engage the members of our industry to participate in community outreach efforts and to use their talents to help people in need with hearing loss improve their hearing and quality of life. Giving back not only helps others, but it is good for our souls,” adds Johnson.
