NCQA certification is a powerful confirmation of the caliber of our Population Care solution as the engine that helps bring quality-rich, value-based care to our clients.

SPH Analytics (SPH), a leader in healthcare analytics and population health management, announced that its Population Care™ | Quality Measures solution has achieved National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) certification for its measure engine supporting NCQA-Certified HEDIS quality measures.

HEDIS (Healthcare Effectiveness and Data Information Set) measures, as established by the NCQA, are one of the most widely used group of performance improvement tools in healthcare. The certification validates SPH Analytics’ quality measure engine in its calculation of measure performance and care gap reports. SPH’s solutions allow its healthcare organization clients to track and compare quality performance across their member and patient populations.

“NCQA certification is a powerful confirmation of the caliber of our Population Care solution as the engine that helps bring quality-rich, value-based care to our clients,” said Amy Amick, President and CEO of SPH Analytics. “Certified measures further support our clients’ accreditation requirements, performance improvement initiatives, and value-based contract requirements.”

Over half the health plans in the United States, including the top 50 largest health plans in the nation, partner with SPH Analytics for patient/member engagement services, healthcare survey management, and insightful quality and cost analytics that empower them to take targeted actions to measurably improve patient experience and population health.
