Adobe Population Health to Present at Salesforce World Tour NYC


Adobe Population Health, an innovative care management company serving the southwest, announced today that Alex Waddell, chief information officer, will be speaking at Salesforce’s World Tour NYC on May 4, 2023. The presentation will focus on Adobe’s application of Salesforce technology, including MuleSoft, to automate workflows for their innovative care model including a bi-directional data transfer between Adobe and Medicare and Medicaid insurers.

The customized platform has saved Adobe more than 5,000 work hours.

Allegrini, the first place winner, was awarded $1,000 and Marina Coronado Fernandez, our runner up, was awarded $500. Both wining students may use the put the funds toward educational expenses. Allegrini’s mother survived cancer, while Fernandez herself is a cancer survivor. Both have overcome cancer’s effects on their lives and begun attending college.

The firm launched this scholarship to help students and families who have been impacted by cancer. The attorneys were inspired by the strength of cancer survivors and their family members. Attorneys Cosmo Tedone and Barbara Morton both have personal experience with the impact of cancer on not only the sick person, but their families as well. This scholarship is a way for them to help others who have experienced this hardship and is one of many ways the firm seeks to serve its community.

Applicants were asked to submit an essay responding to one of two prompts. The first option was, “During your or your loved one’s battle with cancer, have you discovered unexpected courage in yourself that you did not know you had? Has someone else in your life inspired you with their courage? How has this affected how you expect to approach adversity in your life?” The other prompt option was, “How has a battle against cancer (either your own or a loved one’s) affected your life and future goals? How has this experience led you to reassess what matters most to you?”

Prior to joining RWJBH, Dr. Alexander was Chief Medical Officer for Government Programs at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey and was instrumental in the advancement of quality of care and service delivered to New Jersey residents enrolled in Medicaid, Medicare or dual-eligible programs. He has held leadership positions at AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals, UnitedHealthcare, Health Partners of Philadelphia and Independence Blue Cross. Dr. Alexander completed his undergraduate premedical studies and holds a Masters in Public Health from Columbia University. He is a Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine graduate, a former Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania and a Fellow of the Leonard Davis Institute at the Wharton School.
