“No matter the circumstances, LINC remains committed to providing a platform for the interdisciplinary exchange of the latest scientific data and technical aspects of endovascular interventions for specialists,” said Dierk Scheinert, MD, founder and course director, LINC.

HMP Global, a leading healthcare event and education company, today announced that the 17th installation of the Leipzig Interventional Course (LINC) will convene virtually January 25-29, 2021. The online event will feature a record 17 live case transmission centers from around the world, streaming more than 40 interventional cases, data from late-breaking trials, and a range of thought-provoking lectures, symposia, and discussion.

Created in 2005, LINC is a premier, multi-day interdisciplinary meeting designed to foster collaboration among colleagues and promote the understanding and development of endovascular therapies that can be incorporated into daily clinical practice. Drawing attendees and leading experts from around the world, LINC provides information on the latest techniques and technologies for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of vascular disease—nearly 5,000 attendees from 82 countries participated in the January 2020 meeting.

“No matter the circumstances, LINC remains committed to providing a platform for the interdisciplinary exchange of the latest scientific data and technical aspects of endovascular interventions for specialists,” said Dierk Scheinert, MD, founder and course director, LINC. “While we would certainly prefer to gather in person, this year’s virtual edition will nonetheless serve as a tremendous opportunity to bring the global interventional community together online to participate in renowned live cases, ‘Connect the World’ sessions, poster sessions, and vigorous exchange and debate, and ensure participants gain techniques to improve daily interventional practice. My colleague, Andrej Schmidt, MD and I look forward to hosting this exciting edition of LINC in a most unusual time.”
