WSTA Inaugural Golf Outing Raises Funds for NAMI-NYC Mental Health Programs

WSTA Board members enjoy a day of golf benefiting NAMI-NYC.

The Wall Street Technology Association (WSTA®), a not-for-profit educational forum for financial technology and business professionals, hosted its inaugural golf outing benefiting NAMI-NYC on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at the Forsgate Country Club in New Jersey. The outing was a fun-filled day of golf, food, drink, entertainment, and more.

“We had a wonderful day out on the green, while also learning more about NAMI-NYC’s free programs and resources available to New Yorkers and beyond,” shared Ken DeGiglio, CIO of EquiLend and WSTA President.

“We are grateful for WSTA’s partnership and their understanding that mental health challenges affect us all, personally and professionally,” shared CEO Matt Kudish. “This golf outing was a great way to kick off Mental Health Awareness Month this year and we’re already looking forward to next year’s event.”

1 out of 5 New Yorkers struggle with mental health issues. The other 4 out of 5 are friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors.

Throughout the year, the WSTA promotes the benefits of NAMI-NYC’s mental health programs to its financial services members and their families. NAMI-NYC Workplace Mental Health Initiative has also transformed how WSTA members think about workplace mental health and available management tools to support their teams.
