World Unite for Ukraine™, a global grassroots movement uniting millions of people around the world to support Ukrainians and ease the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, today announced its final lineup of artists and bands, along with the two event co-hosts for the July 14 virtual streaming event. The event will feature 23 artists and bands representing seven countries.
“We are excited to see people from all over the world come together to make a difference for the Ukrainian people whose lives have been turned upside down,” said Victoria Yampolsky, an American entrepreneur with roots in the former Soviet Union who conceived and co-founded World Unite for Ukraine. “As we enter the last week before our event, our efforts remain focused on raising as much funding as possible to provide food, shelter, medical supplies and equipment, and many other basic necessities they are otherwise struggling to obtain.”
To be streamed to 25+ countries, World Unite for Ukraine will feature music by Pink Floyd, Anti-War Machine, featuring members of The B-52’s and Public Enemy, and Ukrainian singer and songwriter ROXOLANA, among others, as well as appearances by American actor Pej Vahdat. Most recently added is the Ukrainian-born English pop music group, The Bloom Twins. Top artists, actors and celebrities will also participate with messages of support and inspiration, along with powerful stories from Ukraine highlighting the country’s history, culture and the devastating impact the war has had on Ukraine and its people.
