On Thursday August 5th, 2021 Fort Worth Inc. magazine announced its yearly list of the Best Companies to Work For in Fort Worth at their fifth annual Fort Worth awards luncheon. “Three years in a row is an awesome accomplishment by our team,” shared Coleman McDonald, CEO of Work Wear Safety Shoes. “I was proud the first year we won, but I am even more proud now to be a leader in this organization.”

Fort Worth Inc. hosts this celebration to honor distinguished Fort Worth employers that have established a positive workplace for all employees, and demonstrate excellence in every way. This award is decided by the Best Companies Group which conducts confidential surveys of each applicant’s employees to gather characteristics of the organization and its culture. Along with the employee reviews, the Best Companies Group also focuses on examining factors within company practices, such as benefits, diversity, training, employee recognition, family-friendliness and work-life balance.

“My favorite part about how we receive this honor is that it is based on anonymous, confidential feedback from employees. It’s not what I say as the CXO, it’s what they say as the employees,” stated Matthew Hudson, Chief Experience Officer.
