With Rapid Adoption of the Fillmaster Auto, FLAVORx Makes Major New Investment in Its Leadership Team


Pharmacies are increasingly using automation, like the Fillmaster Auto, to streamline basic dispensing tasks so their pharmacists can focus on consulting with patients and providing great customer care.

In response to several successful roll-outs of their new Fillmaster Auto dispensing technology, Maryland-based FLAVORx Inc. has announced the hiring of Kevin Campbell and Jerry Telson as Corporate Vice Presidents. Campbell and Telson will be responsible for delivering on the company’s pledge to help their pharmacy partners improve the patient experience, gain market share, drive efficiencies, and reduce costs, with the Fillmaster Auto as the catalyst.

Kevin Campbell has 42 years of experience in retail pharmacy and pharma. He most recently served as the Executive Director of Sales and Business Development at Azurity Pharmaceuticals, formerly CutisPharma, where he oversaw the expansion and utilization of the company’s FI℞ST® unit-of-use prescription compounding kits. Campbell’s areas of expertise include Quality Assurance, Supply Chain/Logistics, Sales/Marketing, Management, and Commercial Operations.

Jerry Telson is a seasoned retail pharmacy executive, having spent the past 39 years at Walgreens. While there, Telson held many leadership positions, both in the field and at the corporate level. His roles included Store Manager, District Manager, Corporate Director of Operation Administration, and most recently, Director of Pharmacy and Retail Operations, a role in which he was responsible for the P&L of over 100 retail pharmacies.

FLAVORx provides dispensing automation technology and medication flavoring systems to over 40,000 pharmacies in the U.S. Their products allow pharmacists to get more done in less time, while helping their pediatric patients be more adherent to the medications they must take. FLAVORx has been in business since 1995. Their products have been used to custom flavor over 150 million prescription medications.
