Seven Windsor care centers, providers of rehabilitation and short- and long-term care, recently gathered in Northern California for two days of collaboration, learning, networking and team-building.

Organized and hosted by Windsor’s Northern California Regional Director of Operations, Kristine Perry, the theme of the two-day summit was “Red Carpet VIP Event.” It was attended by the Administrators and Directors of Nursing for the seven Northern California facilities, plus Northern CA regional team leaders, including the clinical directors, senior human resources representatives, directors of business development, facilities maintenance, and MDS.

Perry utilized the summit to welcome new management to the organization, review important corporate policies, train the staff on the latest clinical updates, review regulatory and compliance updates, network with strategic partners, and build a stronger sense of camaraderie and teamwork within her region.

“I wanted to provide a forum for the Administrators and DONs to come together for in-person education, collaboration, and team building,” says Perry. “The theme of the event was Red Carpet – VIP. As part of our region’s commitment to recruitment and retention, our Administrators and DONs have been rolling out the red carpet to welcome new team members on their first day of orientation. I wanted to roll out the red carpet for them to provide them with the same experience.”
