Village Dermatology Welcomes New Surgical Physician Assistant

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (PRWEB)

The Surgical Department at Village Dermatology continues to grow as it has added Lelie Welden, PA-C, Certified Surgical Physician Assistant, to support the growing need for surgical dermatology patient coverage. “We are extremely excited to welcome Lelie to our team and help support Dr. Rachel Pflederer in our Surgical Department,” explained Dr. Jenny Sobera. “The need for quality surgical dermatology care is always high, and we have expanded our team to support that need in our community. Lelie is integral to our overall dermatology practice, and we are fortunate to have her talents here at Village Dermatology.”

Lelie was trained locally at the University of Alabama-Birmingham, where she received her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Lelie is also an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
