The expansion of an additional 8,000 products makes it possible for clients to purchase more of their pets’ products directly from their veterinarian — one of the many ways Vetsource provides veterinary practices with solutions that help them remain a part of the entire pet care experience.

Vetsource® Home Delivery, an industry-leading online pharmacy service that helps veterinary practices provide pet owners with convenient access to pet products, has announced a significant expansion in the number and categories of pet products available through its service.

This fall, veterinary-recommended specialty diets, treats, collars, leashes and other pet products will join the current catalog of prescription diets and medications. This expansion of an additional 8,000 products makes it possible for clients to purchase more of their pets’ products directly from their veterinarian.

“Pet parents have always looked to their veterinarian as the trusted source of prescription medications and diets,” said Kurt Green, president and CEO of Vetsource. “By positioning our veterinary customers to offer a more robust selection of products, pet parents will buy more often from their veterinarian and be less likely to look to other places for their pet care needs.”

Vetsource has been a leader in the industry since it was founded in 2008 to help practices keep up with a changing marketplace. The catalog expansion is one of the many ways Vetsource provides veterinary practices with solutions that help them remain a part of the entire pet care experience.

“Vetsource has been a trusted partner of our practice, helping us to offer our clients more convenient options and ultimately allowing us to offer more services to our clients,” said Dr. Andrea Dunnings, CEO and founder of East Atlanta Animal Clinic and a member of Vetsource’s leadership advisory board. “We’re thrilled to now be able to offer a more complete catalog of products through our online store. Not only will this allow us to ensure our clients have access to quality products for their pets, but we will also have a more full picture of a patient’s medical history through our Vetsource Home Delivery platform.”

Along with the expanded selection of pet products, Vetsource will also release several enhancements to its e-commerce shopping experience.

“Our commitment to the profession is unwavering,” Green added. “We will continue to invest in our solutions and services offered to veterinarians to positively impact the health of their business and their patients, while strengthening the bond between pet parents and their veterinarian.”
