Verge Health, the healthcare industry’s leading governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) company, was once again named by KLAS Research as one of the highest in the industry for Credentialing Services in the Credentialing 2019 KLAS Report.
This year’s report, a follow-up to KLAS’ first credentialing report from 2018, dives into how well solutions resolve some of credentialing’s biggest pain points today—time consuming onboarding, manual and paper processes, and the need for a single, enterprise source of truth.
Verge Health President, Chris Malanuk, said, “Verge Health takes great pride in our customers rating us as one of the highest in the industry for Credentialing Services. We continue to evolve how the healthcare industry manages practitioners to further drive safety efforts.”
Verge Health customers were among the most satisfied of the measured customer bases, with larger customers reporting experiences similar to those of smaller organizations. Verge offers an interactive web portal that includes provider profiles and other functionality to support management of the credentialing process. Many, within the report, cite specific outcomes they have achieved through their partnership and engagement with Verge’s software and services, such as “no CMS or Joint Commission issues, no lapsed physician licenses and establishment of an automated peer review process.”
Driving high value, Verge Health continues to be recognized as one of the leaders in the HIT industry addressing credentialing challenges and pain points. Verge received an “A” in KLAS’s six Customer Experience Pillars which included culture, loyalty, operations, product, relationship and value, with the latter receiving an “A+” score.
Each year, KLAS Research interviews thousands of healthcare professionals to provide accurate, honest, and impartial research on the software and services used by providers and payers worldwide for the healthcare IT (HIT) industry. These interviews, scores and commentary are collected in real time so that other providers and IT professionals can benefit from their peers’ experiences.
One Medical Staff Office Director commented about Verge Health, “People want to see the various primary source verifications, and with all the data that we have had within our credentialing system, we don’t ever run into problems. We have taken many surveys in the past few years, and we have never had an issue with any of the basic credentialing requirements. Verge Health’s platform has been very helpful in realizing those outcomes.”
Verge Health’s Credentialing offering pairs software and services, including credentialing services, privilege management, and an integrated practitioner application. Additional process extensions in Verge’s Practitioner Management Application, including the capability to manage peer review, the payer enrollment process and incorporate practitioner performance data, create a turnkey practitioner management tool.
