U.S. Dermatology Partners announced today the appointment of Dr. Glenn Goldstein as Chief Medical Officer (CMO). Goldstein’s appointment emphasizes U.S. Dermatology Partners’ vision to collaborate with physicians and amplify the physician voice to ultimately establish the industry standard of leadership and quality, patient-first care as the premier dermatology care community in America.
Goldstein is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and Fellowship trained Mohs Surgeon. He founded Dermatology & Skin Cancer Centers as a solo practice in 1987 and grew the practice over two decades to one of the country’s top treatment centers. His was the first practice to offer full-time Mohs micrographic surgery in Kansas City. Goldstein started and managed an ACMS accredited Mohs fellowship training program for 20 years, and many of his former fellows are now members of U.S. Dermatology Partners. Dermatology & Skin Cancer Centers was the second practice to join U.S. Dermatology Partners in 2014, and Goldstein has been an integral part of the group as a respected clinician and a leader.
“At the core of everything we do, patients come first. We are a clinical care organization and want to ensure decisions are patient-driven, and continue to provide consistency in quality and continuity of care,” said U.S. Dermatology Partners CEO Paul Singh. “Glenn’s experience and principles are aligned with our purpose of delivering ethical and exceptional patient care experiences, and he is focused on attracting and retaining the best dermatology providers to serve our patients.”
The redesigning of U.S. Dermatology Partners’ physician leadership team includes the promotion of seven physicians to regional president. The impetus for the new appointments is the group’s desire for more dedicated executives to not only focus on patients, but also to ensure quality of care continues to extend to the administrative side of the business.
Regional Presidents:
● Dr. Mark Fleishman, Midwest
● Dr. Howard Luber, Southwest
● Dr. Alexandra Theriault, Mountain West
● Dr. Jennifer Holman, East & South Texas; Oklahoma
● Dr. Aubrey Chad Hartmann, Central Texas
● Dr. Jay Wofford, North Texas (East)
● Dr. Kathryn Durham, North Texas (West)
Goldstein will work in close collaboration with the executive leadership team, regional presidents, and regional managers to oversee all aspects of clinical care provided throughout U.S. Dermatology Partners. The regional presidents will lead operational initiatives and local teams to drive a culture of collaboration and continuous optimization. In addition to operational and clinical initiatives, the presidents will take part in financial and operational review and compliance.
Goldstein earned his medical degree from Kansas University Medical School and went on to the University of Kansas Medical Center where he completed a dermatology residency. He subsequently completed his Mohs and dermatologic surgery fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He is the author of more than 40 medical publications.
