Transdermal Specialties Global Establishes a New Test Clinic for Clinical Trials

(TSG) is pleased to announce that it is the process of opening a new Test Clinic for Transdermal Patch reviews. In the time of COVID-19 we needed a test dormitory clinic which could house patients for up to 14 days while we test out our various patch products over long delivery term. First among these products is the Trans-Insulin™ patch which needs 14 days of testing to determine the long-term dosing stability. The New TSG Dorm Clinic is being set up in Frederick, Maryland, and will conduct multi-day transdermal patch products, beginning with the New transdermal Insulin patch, In January and then the new Parkinson’s Patch in March 2021.

The TSG Dorm Clinic will house up to 6 volunteers at a time for 24-hour, multi-day clinical studies. The clinic is just being set up now and should be operational in January where the first recruits will take part in a 14-day insulin trial. The TSG Dorm Clinic will meet all CGMP requirements for a sterile dormitory experience.

The TSG Dorm Clinic is the second site for TSG in Frederick, Maryland. The original investment in Frederick, MD was a Laboratory located at 400 Sagner Ave, Suite 300. The New TSG Dorm Clinic is located at 92 Thomas Johnson Drive, Suite 100.

The Clinic has lockers rooms and showers for the resident volunteers, as well as a nursing station which will be manned 24 hours a day.
