With the aim of becoming a community-based company, transcosmos has been creating job opportunities in the prefecture, contributing to the development of Nagasaki prefecture.

transcosmos inc. hereby announces that the company has donated 3,000 face masks to Sasebo City Social Welfare Council, a social welfare corporation in Sasebo city, Nagasaki prefecture.

transcosmos entered Nagasaki city, Nagasaki prefecture in May, 2015. In 2019, the company opened BPO Center Sasebo, the second center in the prefecture. With the aim of becoming a community-based company, transcosmos has been creating job opportunities in the prefecture, contributing to the development of Nagasaki prefecture. Today, transcosmos offers its BPO services from three locations within the prefecture, and with 1,200 employees.

Knowing the company’s commitment to the local community, Sasebo city suggested a possible donation opportunity. With the hope to serve the community welfare under the current situation, transcosmos then decided to donate 3,000 face masks to the social welfare corporation, Sasebo City Social Welfare Council.

Kanji Fukahori, Chairman of Sasebo City Social Welfare Council made the following comment:

We, at Sasebo City Social Welfare Council, greatly appreciate your generous donation. We will use the face masks in our council’s diverse business activities including consultation for the underprivileged, elderly care, community lounge activity support, and more. To show our gratitude for your kind consideration, we will continue to work on the prevention and control of communicable diseases, while further enhancing our city’s social welfare system and services. Thank you for your continued cooperation.
