AE Works Ltd. (AE Works), a building design and consulting firm, is continuing to grow their team and expand their geographic reach with the opening of a new Washington, DC office, strategic new hires and new organizational roles.
The new Washington, D.C. office is simultaneously occurring as the top Mid-Atlantic design firm also expands its Pittsburgh headquarters with strategic hires and new organizational roles. These moves position the firm with an office footprint that support clients where and how they work. The growth in Washington, D.C is in response to AE Works securing several contracts with federal agencies.
Supporting this new larger office in Washington, DC and expansion in Pittsburgh, AE Works is excited to welcome seven (7) new team members who will be working across a range of AE Works’ projects and services. The firm is excited to welcome the following new hires:
Dawn Cindric, AIA – Manager, Architecture
Michael Carroll, PE, LEED AP, DCEP – Senior Project Manager
Thomas Wallof, AIA, LEED AP BD+C – Project Architect
Ashley Swann, NCIDQ – Interior Designer
Colby Campbell, NCIDQ – Interior Designer
Demetrios Giannoukos, EIT – Electrical Engineer – EIT
Chris Hutchins – Assistant Project Manager
In addition to this sustained growth and new staff, AE Works created three new organizational roles to strategically support client engagement and deliver the firm brand promise. As AE Works prioritizes career growth and development, all three roles were filled through internal staff. These new organizational roles and promotions include:
Richard Witt, Jr. AIA – Chief Client Officer. In this role, Witt will be responsible for client engagement across the organization.
Mary Margaret McCarty – Client Development Advisor. In this role, McCarty will be responsible for operational sales strategy development and execution.
Carly Khanna – Chief Brand Officer. Khanna will be responsible for AE Works’ brand image, experience and promise.
“These hires, new roles and promotions and geographic expansion mark a significant milestone in the continued evolution and growth of AE Works. These strategic initiatives reinforce our vision to develop a single-source solution for our clients that helps tame building complexities and enables their success through their physical spaces. I couldn’t be more thrilled for the future of our company. We are positioned to grow our impact,” states Michael Cherock, PE, President and CEO of AE Works.
Marking thirteen years in business this year, AE Works remains focused on sustained growth and expanding services, including Owner’s Representative services and security-focused training related to building design. Headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with regional offices in State College, PA and Washington, DC, the company currently has 40 employees with continued plans to hire.
