The new broad range of effective treatments for facial rejuvenation is the topic of next week’s Hurwitz Center for Plastic Surgery video conference. In early February 2020, Dr. Hurwitz applied minimally invasive bipolar radiofrequency, FaceTite® to her face and neck, liposuction her neck, and then artistically injected hyaluronic acid filler (Juvederm®) along the leading edges of her jawline and cheeks using the Y Lift technique. Videos show these procedures in the AAAASF certified office operating room. Dr. Hurwitz will compare her before and current facial images. Expertly applied nonsurgical techniques and early multiple anti swelling treatments such as HiVamat electro physiological massage led to her return to nursing at Passavant within a week. Medical Aesthetician Mandie Waltenbagh will explain skin care after bipolar radiofrequency skin tightening, microneedling, CO2 laser and facelifts. She will recognize anti-oxidant month by presenting the special skin penetrating serums containing Vitamin C pioneered by SkinCeuticals. Dr. Hurwitz will end this Saturday’s webinar by reviewing his experience with FaceTite® and Y Lift® and explain their role as a substitute for or their application years after his innovative vertical facelift.
While the pandemic surrounds us and we are painfully aware of its tragic consequences, most of us are spared direct impact. The fourth live Webinar in this series explores advances in breast surgery. The treatment of failing and no longer desired breast implants, so called Baby Boomer Breast Surgery will be presented. A proper approach to implant and capsule removal is followed by reconstruction, by a variety of techniques such as new implants with Galaflex support mesh, and no implants followed by mastopexy, lipoaugmentation and/or nearby Spiral Flap Breast reshaping. Nonsurgical breast reduction and lift cases treated with VASERlipo and BodyTite will be presented.
