The Cannabis Hemp Heritage Act of 2020 proudly announces the launching its website and official campaign to amend Prop. 64 this upcoming General Election November 3, 2020.

After having predicted and witnessed the failings of California’s Adult Use of Marijuana Act (AUMA), a broad coalition of concerned citizens, patient advocates, and liberty-minded individuals have come together to preserve California’s Cannabis Heritage through simple and reasonable legislation. This initiative was crafted originally by Jack Herer and polished by his peers and associates over the last 30 years.

This year’s version of the initiative adds second amendment protections for cannabis consumers. Having already seen the early attempts by states and special interest groups to pass laws that infringe upon cannabis consumers’ 2A rights, this Act preemptively aims to defend this constitutional right. This Act also aims to protect all our other guaranteed constitutional rights.

Previous amendments to the Act include banning of un-natural GMO cannabis seeds, citing the 9th and 10th amendments of the federal constitution, and creating guides to address the DUI issue. This initiative also guarantees the right to personal grows, frees a greater number of non-violent Cannabis prisoners, and limits taxation and licensing fees. The latter of which are the two major stumbling blocks facing the post- Prop. 64 cannabis industry.
