The first of its kind BRAIN & PAIN Summit is a 4-day conference featuring courses about the central nervous system and pain management and will convene April 27-30 at the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona. Over 15 credit hours will be provided.

Alzheimer’s, stroke, migraine, MS, Parkinson’s, low back pain, traumatic brain injury, and other neurological conditions cost the United States over $780 billion a year.[1] Approximately 50 million people in the world have epilepsy.[2] Over 30 million have dementia.[3] Over 1 billion people have migraine.[4] Help is needed!

Dr. Fiona Barwick, who will be presenting Sleep As an Intervention for Neurological Conditions and Psychiatric Disorders and Where Is the Sandman? Addressing Sleep & Chronic Pain, commented, “As a clinical associate professor in the Sleep Medicine Division at Stanford School of Medicine, I think this will be a great opportunity for sharing with attendees how strategies for optimizing sleep and circadian health can help mitigate neurological symptoms and improve quality of life for those with a variety of CNS disorders.”
