Surgent PharmCon Announces New KnowFully Learning Group Corporate Branding and Website

The professional education company previously known as Surgent PharmCon today introduced its new corporate branding, KnowFully Learning Group, as well as the launch of its Knowfully.com website. This new branding was developed to support the company as it continues to grow both within its existing professional education end markets, accounting, finance and healthcare, as well as into other verticals.

“Though Surgent is one of the most established names in accounting and tax professional education and PharmCon is a top brand in pharmacy continuing education, we felt that the timing was right to develop a strong identify for the parent organization that now spans multiple end markets. We will continue to market our products and services under their existing, respective Surgent and PharmCon names, while also leveraging this strong new name for strategic corporate initiatives that span multiple brands,” explained Lisa Hobart, Chief Marketing Officer.

Originally a continuing professional education (CPE) company for the accounting and tax industries, Surgent developed a top-rated line of online exam prep courses for professional licensure exams over the past five years, and—just this year—entered the healthcare market with its acquisition of Myrtle Beach-based PharmCon, which primarily markets under its FreeCE brand. To support this growth, the company has invested heavily in people, technology, and processes, building advanced shared services capabilities that can support multiple types of products and services in multiple industries. This includes its KnowFully One platform, which consolidates customer usage and product access information across business lines, while also enabling the company to quickly and easily create, deliver, and support exam review and continuing education products for new end markets.

In the years leading up to this announcement, the company has completed a number of foundational initiatives that were critical to achieving this milestone, including:

-The creation of a sophisticated platform to enable the efficient development and digital delivery of interactive continuing professional education (“CPE”) courses, as well as an intuitive online system that streamlines CPE management for accounting firms and individual CPAs.

  • The development of an artificial intelligence-enabled, easily extensible adaptive learning platform for online exam preparation.
  • The installation of new processes, human capital, and infrastructure necessary to sell and deliver professional education products and services to multiple markets and channels.
  • The adoption of data-driven digital marketing systems and processes to continually refine and optimize customer acquisition and dramatically improve retention.
