Our current expansion from men-only to treatment options for women is going very well.

Sunshine Coast Health Centre (https://www.sunshinecoasthealthcentre.ca/), a best-in-class Centre in British Columbia for drug rehab, alcohol treatment, trauma and PTSD therapy and other issues, is proud to announce a property purchase as part of its 2020 expansion from treatment for men only to treatment for women as well. The Centre has purchased property next to its existing women’s residences for space to do group activities, recreation such as digital entertainment, and the enjoyment of the outdoors. The purchased building is currently being renovated and plans are for it to be ready for usage in early 2020.

“Our current expansion from men-only to treatment options for women is going very well,” explained Casey Jordan, Chief Marketing Officer. “Obviously, our non-12 step methodology for treating alcohol, drugs, and/or trauma is relevant regardless of one’s gender. By purchasing this additional property, we’re adding to what we can offer in our best-in-class addictions and mental health programs for women.”

Persons interested in the treatment program for women suffering from drugs, alcohol, and/or trauma or PTSD should visit the website at https://www.sunshinecoasthealthcentre.ca/ and then click on the “contact” button. Information can be requested at that point. Alternatively, persons interested in the treatment philosophy and methodology are urged to visit the information pages on Non 12 Step Methodology (https://www.sunshinecoasthealthcentre.ca/non-12-step/) and trauma therapy (https://www.sunshinecoasthealthcentre.ca/trauma-program/). These pages provide an overview to the perspective of the Centre and are a starting point for understanding the Centre’s treatment philosophy. Above all, however, each woman is urged to reach out to the Centre for a consultation as no two individuals, nor their situations are exactly alike.
