Shady Grove Fertility (SGF) Invites Information Seekers and Current Patients to Take Advantage of Weekly Virtual Fertility Events and Live Physician Q&As throughout May

Shady Grove Fertility (SGF) to host weekly virtual fertility events and Instagram Live physician Q&As throughout the month of May.

Infertility is a time-sensitive disease that affects one in eight couples of reproductive age. Our hope is that these events help patients move forward with their family building goals.

With much of the world on hold, Shady Grove Fertility (SGF) physicians want patients to know that hope is not. Staying true to their commitment to reach and teach those who struggle with infertility, SGF will offer free weekly virtual fertility events and physician Q&As throughout the month of May.

“These are uncertain times. While we know the current situation will not last forever, we also know our patients’ desire to build a family endures,” said Mark Perloe, M.D., of SGF’s Atlanta-Northside office who will be co-hosting a ‘Fertility Treatment during a Pandemic’ webinar on May 12. “Infertility is a time-sensitive disease that affects one in eight couples of reproductive age. Our hope is that these events help patients move forward with their family building goals.”

SGF’s virtual fertility events educate attendees about common causes of infertility, treatment options, success rates, what to expect during an initial physician virtual consultation, and much more. Additionally, participants will learn how to make progress toward building their family amid the COVID-19 situation. Each event concludes with a physician Q&A where patients can get their questions answered from the privacy and comfort of their own home.

“Many people believe infertility is a female problem. The reality is, 40 to 50 percent of all infertility cases are attributed to the male,” said board certified reproductive urologist Paul R. Shin, M.D., Co-Director of SGF’s Center for Male Fertility, who will be hosting the Male Fertility webinar on May 21. “Our live events are opportunities for all partners to gather the information they need to make informed decisions in a timely manner.”

While SGF fertility webinars are complimentary, interested parties must register to attend by visiting the SGF calendar of events.
