Networking in a space like Bouquets and Brunch that brings together all the sectors we support in one place is rare. As a woman-owned and operated company in a male-dominated industry, we are always looking for ways to elevate women.

Servicon, Southern California’s leading hospital environmental services (EVS) provider and commercial cleaning services company, has hosted a Bouquets and Brunch on March 31 to celebrate Women’s History Month. The networking event, which took place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Servicon’s corporate headquarters, featured a brunch catered by the Rose Café, and attendees were invited to create floral arrangements to take home or be donated to women’s shelters and nonprofits in the greater Los Angeles community.

The event also featured a presentation by Eileen Fracchia, who just released her new book, The Great LeadHERship Awakening. The choice of Fracchia is especially fitting given that the theme of Women’s History Month 2023 is Celebrating Women Who Tell Our Stories.

The event hosted an estimated 40 women leaders from various sector backgrounds, including the healthcare, government municipalities, aerospace, life sciences, and commercial sectors. While the event was scheduled for two hours, attendees who attended were encouraged to stay and continue networking.

“The goal of Bouquets and Brunch is to brighten the day of women in the greater LA community and create a space where women leaders in primarily male-dominated space can come together and share their stories,” says Servicon CEO and President Laurie Sewell. “Networking in a space like Bouquets and Brunch that brings together all the sectors we support in one place is rare. As a woman-owned and operated company in a male-dominated industry, we are always looking for ways to elevate women. We are excited to have the opportunity to host such a special event during Women’s History Month to celebrate all we have achieved and help keep the momentum going for all that lies ahead.”
